I Know The Moon

They say the moon controls the sea and all believe it as a truth. 

But I know that it does not control the sea, but is a part of it. 

They say the moon is just a light that shines in the dark sky.

But I know that it guides the lost through the night.

They say the moon has a dark side.

I know it shows the light in us.

They say the moon is dangerous.

But I know that it holds hope.

They say that the moon is far away.

But I know it is in reach.

They say the moon controls the waves of the sea.

But I know it guides them.

They say the moon goes away in the day.

But I know that it watches over the dark.

They say the moon can't reach the bottom of the sea.

But I know it can.

They say the moon lays in space.

But I know it lays in our hearts. 

I know the truth of the moon.

I thought of this as I was taking care of dogs at work.
