Helping Hand

In a world of hatred there are children who are broken.

In a world of love there are those who loathe.

In a world where war wins, will you help the children?

Will you be their helping hand and guide them on their way?

Will you be their light in the dark and guide them home?

Will you stand by the their side and guide them on their way?

Take their hand and hold it close for they could disappear.

Hold them close and don't them go and guide them on their way.

Will you be their helping hand and guide them on their way?

Guide them through the dark.

Guide them through the wars.

Guide them through all the pain.

Will you be their helping hand and guide them on their way?

And when they feel they are ready to go, will you let them go?

And when they feel they are ready to go, will you let them go?

Let them go and help those in need until they come along.

Once they come and say take me home to my bed forever.

Will you let them go?

Will you let them leave your side?

Will you be their helping hand and guide them on their way.

And when you are ready to go will you go as well?

And when you are ready to leave, will you forever?

And when you go will you bring the good and the bad with you.
