It's been a couple of days since Lauren finally told me her name. I'm gonna put my foot into this new task.
I finish getting ready for work and allow my phone to charge a little more, tonight it was just me working. A few minutes after I leave the house, I see her casually walking down the street.
"Hey Lauren" I say, loud enough for only her to hear
She looks over to me and furrows her eyebrows.
"I'm just saying Hi, that's all" I say before she can say anything about me being annoying
Her face awkwardly relaxes and she gives me a simple wave. Within the next two minutes I pull up to the club, after checking my makeup I go clock in.
An hour passes and I've been receiving a truckload of tips already. Turned my charm on and flashed this billion dollar smile. I start counting it so far and chuckle to myself, this is too easy.
"Hey"
I look up at the familiar voice and I raise my eyebrows in surprise at the sight of Lauren.
"I just thought we could have a conversation" She shrugs
"Wow you're actually talking to me?" I smile
"You're actually not annoying today" She chuckles
"I know for a fact I'm not as annoying as you think" I say, giving her a drink on the house
"Well then you're using every annoying bone in your body on me" She says
"How's the medicine business?" I smirk with a small wink
She clenches her jaw but then relaxes it.
"It's great but I'd rather you not mention it in public" She says
She downs some of her drink then takes a look around and she leans in towards me.
"But hey, if u ever need a y'know break I have a new supply" She says, wiggling her brows
"Ooohh what?" I ask
"LSD, it's hard shit to make, so this bout to sell"She grins
"What's the effects?" I ask
"Some scary ass hallucinations that seem real or it can be good" She says
"Im good on that but I would get that for free?" I whisper yell to her
Lauren's eyes widen, caught off guard at my statement. She let's out an incredulous chuckle before downing the rest of her drink.

This time Lauren lets out a loud laugh, causing tears to come to her eyes.
"Friends? Hot chocolate, we're not even associates, with that I'm out" she winks and puts down a twenty dollar bill
