The depths of a human being's mind is a dark, unwelcoming place. There is so much sin, so much evil and wickedness hidden there. We all walk around with this inside of us every day. The only ways to break into the part of the brain where this darkness is held, is for depraved and insane ideas to be made on the surface and slowly cave in, for someone to be born with it partially open, or a combination of both. It starts slowly, then it rages, consuming the person in power. It can make things happen you never knew a human could do. Crazy things. Almost anything.

For the most fearful thing in this world isn't an entity. It isn't a beast or a monster or an animal.

It is what sits upon our own heads, waiting to be released.

Though, thankfully, it is very rare. While many people have been at risk of fully releasing the raw power this wickedness contains, it has never actually happened.
