Escaping Destiny

Today I woke up,
Thinking my dad would go one as normal

But the thing about normal is
That sometimes normal is the ideal aim
But most of the time it's
Unsuccessful

I woke up and went to make breakfast for Liam
I made him pancakes and some eggs

As I was cooking I felt a pair of hands wrap around my waist

It was those little things he did that made me love him

"Good morning beautiful"

My face was flushed red

"Hey" I said

"You're making break fast? I wonder for who?" He said playfully

"Well for my one and only." His face brightened up, "Me, myself and I "

He looked confused

"I'm just playing babe, I woke up and made you break fast." - I said trying to stop laughing

"Aren't you funny today?" He said

We sat down and ate our break fast. We talked about little things and how we wanted to go out and explore more of Vegas.

After we where done I went to the bathroom and took a shower, I was planning on calling Danielle from a street phone,
But I knew I had to get to the farthest one.
I didn't want my father tracing me down.

I didn't tell Liam because I knew he wouldn't like it. But surely enough he would understand it.

I went to the most drawn back location I could find

Then I dialed the number

~ring, ring~

"Hello?"

"Danielle, omg it's me it's Skylar" I was so happy I cried

"Omg sky where are you? How are you? Why did you leave?"

"I can't answer those questions right now"
I said hesitantly

"Why?"

"Because I can't ok"

"Oh you're afraid your father finds out" she said in a menacing voice

"What h-how do you know that???"

"Oh please Skylar. Did you really think I was your friend all those years?"

"You bitch!"

"Oh no need to get feisty, anyways I can't wait to see you. We know your in Vegas."

"You betrayed me! Why?!"

"See it was all about you. Skylar the future leader. Everyone had their eyes on you."

"So you where jealous? I can't believe I trusted you. Fuck you!"

I hung up the phone. I was beyond pissed

My best friend just betrayed me. After I trusted her with all my secrets

My dreams

Now crushed. I had to get home and hide.

I rushed home and as soon as I enter the door.

My phone rings.......

"H-hello?"

"Oh dear Skylar, honey it's me"
I knew that voice, that voice that gave me chills everyone I heard it.

"Hello father"
