Escaping Destiny

After Emma woke up, she told me everything that happened.

I was honestly so disappointed.

I knew I was gonna enjoy what was going to happen to her parents, and after she told me everything I was more rage full than ever.
That's what scared me.

Jack and the rest where suppose to get here in 2 hours.

Honestly I wasn't ready to face them. After everything that happened, after all I tried to get away from that life, I'm falling back into it.

I hadn't told Liam anything. I felt as if he would be disappointed. So I kept shut.

Today was the day. I was going to meet them in an abandoned alley way.

I had to explain everything to them.

We needed to plan how we where gonna get her parent tracked

We couldn't get the police involved because of my background. Jaxon was pissed

But I knew I was doing the right thing

It was 4:05 in the afternoon. I started getting ready to leave

I put on some ripped stained jeans, a loose crop top with black leather jacket on top

My hair was up in a high ponytail.

I grabbed my gun and snuck it into my purse.

As I walked by the hallway to the front door, Liam stopped me

"Where you going Skylar?" He said hugging me and kissing my neck

"Oh just for a drive" I answered

"All dressed up like that?" He asked

"U-um yeah?"

"Are you ok? Is there something going o-"

"No no everything's great um I'll see you later"
I ran off and close the door shut

I got into my car and drove off faster than ever.

I parked my car and snuck into the alley way. I walked for about a minute until I turned to my right to see them standing there.

Jack came up to me

"Skylar what's this about"

"Look I'll explain everything to you guys." I said

"My father lied to you, I never went to a rival gang, I left because I couldn't go through being in the gang."

"Skylar we have no leader"

"What?"

"Your father was arrested. He was caught smuggling cocaine out of the country"

"How? How much time is he serving?" I asked

"27 years, they found traces of marijuana in his shoes."

"Guys I'm  sorry but I can't go back! I just need your help for something" I said

"We understand."

I then went and explained to them what was going on. I went on with the plan

Since Emma's dad left his belt in the house, Ashton was going to examine fingerprints and go to the store the belt was bought. From there they would trace the debit card and find the address. Afterwards Jack and the other would bring them to an old warehouse on the hill side. From there it was gonna get dirty.

I wasn't going to let this slide, I couldn't let them get away with this. I mean what if they did it again to her? Then I would blame myself for sure. I had to take this chance. But alone

No one could find out. I felt so guilty so bad that I didn't tell Liam, but I couldn't. He would tell me this wasn't the answer. But in my heart I knew it was the answer. It's like if a group of lions are walking by and one lion gets attacked or killed wouldn't they want revenge?

They would eat the animal that attacked one of them.

That's how it was. They attacked one of us, we return the favor.

I drove home and quietly snuck into the closets
I changed into some pajamas and got in bed next to Liam. He was sound asleep or so I thought

He turned around and hugged me tightly. I buried my face into his chest and fell asleep with his aroma.

I felt bad for lying to him. But I had to. I had to do this for Emma. Revenge is only fun when you have a purpose.

I woke up in a bed. Tied up with heavy belts. I couldn't move

"Help?!! Help me!" I screamed

Out of the corner of my eyes I see a man and a women. They're tall and have masks on there faces.

They walk near me

"Who are you?! Let me go!" I screamed

"You're going to relive Emma's life" the man said

"No one is gonna save you dear?"

"No one like you! You're a whore" the women screamed

"Ahhhhhhh" I screamed.

"Skylar Skylar are you ok?!!!!" Liam said shaking me

I looked doing confused. What just happened

"Liam? W-what happened"

"You where dreaming babe" he said rubbing my cheeks

"Oh"
I said

"Yeah don't worry Skylar" he said

It was 5 AM I was tired

"I'm gonna go back to sleep" I said

With that I fell asleep in his arms

That dream? It meant something

"No ones going to save you" those words echoed in my mind

Those where Emma's parents. In my dream

They said I was going to relive what she did.

What the fuck???

I thought "wtf would that mean"

Eh it's probably just a stupid dream. I chucked

I went back to sleep.

Was this my mind predicting something? Or was it just a silly dream?

There you go guys! Damn Skylar's keeping secrets from Liam. Yikes. Do you think he'll find out? Will Skylar find Emma's parents?
