We arrived at the safe house in Montgomery Alabama at around 6:30 P.M the next two days
I was relived.
But then I thought. "I need to sell my place in Vegas, what if he comes to find me there?" I thought
I went on my phone and booked off the place, it was no longer mine.
I then searched for another home where I could stay. We couldn't stay in this safe house forever. It was four of us in only 1 bedroom.
There was no way it was going to work out
"Attention guys!" I said "We're going to stay here for the next few days, I'm buying a house in Los Angeles."
"Isn't that to close to Vegas? Don't you think you're father or the gang can track you down?" Liam asked
"Yeah Skylar I mean, Vegas and California are only 6 hours away." Said Jerome
"Relax, I doubt he'd try to find me again, we left him bleeding on the floor."
As soon as I said that, i realized that I didn't take into account that my mother shot him. She was trembling
But that monster deserved it, he stabbed my mother and then left her there bleeding. She had to patch it up herself
Who the fuck in their right mind does that, I guess that's what power does to people

I sat next to my mother, I didn't know what to say.
"Mom, it's not your fault, you where trying to protect me. You shot him, he deserved it"
"I know he did" she said with tears down her eyes. "I've never killed anyone, baby. I know what he did to me and trust me it was hell, whenever I would disrespect him he would stab me."
I was furious. My own father, the person who I thought even though he was involved in all this sketchy business, he would always have a heart for his family
I was wrong
He just crossed it off, I hope he dies.
I then proceeded to look for a house, big enough for all of us. I found one that was 5 bedrooms and 5 1/2 bathrooms in the Hollywood hills. It was perfect. It was a huge mansion, and it had updated security system and police patrolled the area.
