Chapter Nineteen

The next day

Camila was in the waiting room. She was pacing back and fourth. "Fuck. This can't happen again..," she shrieked. The young Latina was feeling so much panic and stress that she was sure her heart could burst at anytime. She couldn't stop the flashbacks coming back to her. She kept seeing Lauren in that damn bed, being so small and vulnerable. She kept picturing the machines pumping and the wires entering Lauren's veins.

"I can't breathe," Camila panicked. She was having an anxiety attack. A nurse ran to her. "Non merci, je-, I'm okay," Camila swatted the woman away. (Translation: no thank you, I'm-) She wasn't thinking strait. Camila got back up and focused on her breathing.

She'd inhale for 4 seconds and exhale for 6. She did that for God knows how long.

"Camila? Camila Cabello?" a doctor came in the room and looked around. Camila recognized him. It was Dr. Sorg, the same one who treated Lauren when she had her accident. "Hello Ms. Cabello. Lauren's fine. She had a pulmonary edema. It's when fluid fills the lungs. It's an isolated case. I don't want to scare you with the details, but everything should and will be fine. She's been up for 5 hours now. She's been asking for you the whole time actually. You must be pretty special to her. Please come with me, I'll bring you to her."

Camila nodded and never walked so fast in her life. "CAMZ!" Lauren was screaming from across the hall. Camila was quite concerned, she ran to where the noise came from and was met with a very pale and twitching Lauren.

"Camila! You're here!" Lauren marveled. Camila walked up to her girlfriend and kissed her. "I'll always be here. You really scared me you know," Camila said.

Lauren looked down. "I'm sorry Camz. I was feeling bad for a long time but I never really spoke up about it but it wasn't that painful and I wanted to save you the trouble. I also really wanted to go the the concert. I'm sorry for ruining it Camila."

Camila arched her eyebrows. "Lauren, don't lie. I know it was painful. You had fluid in your lungs, that isn't a small issue. Tell me okay? Tell me when you feel hurt or uncomfortable. Please. Also, you didn't ruin anything. They sang my favourite song, so I got the cherry on top of the cake. We can go watch their whole performance online if you ever want to see what we missed. I'm just glad you're okay."

Lauren started crying. She was so lucky. Camila was so supportive with everything. Their love was so powerful. At that very moment, when Camila was looking at her with the most passionate eyes she'd ever seen, Lauren realized something. She wanted to marry that woman one day.

"I love you Camila Cabello," Lauren smiled. As Camila wiped her tears and held Lauren's head between her hands she answered. "I love you Lauren Jauregui."

Camila captured Lauren's lips in a kiss dripping with lust. Camila climbed on the bed and sat on her girlfriend's thighs. Lauren didn't shy away from wandering her hands over Camila's body. She firmly planted her hands on the younger woman's butt. "Lauren..," Camila whispered. Just as things really started to heat up, Dr. Sorg came in.

"Oh.. I'm sorry girls," the man said with profound embarrassment. "It's all good, sorry," Camila laughed. Both girls stayed in the same position and didn't bother changing it. "So what's up doc?" Lauren giggled.

"You have my okay. You can leave at anytime. Everything looks good and from what I've just witnessed, I think it's time for you two to go home. Take care girls," Dr. Sorg announced.

Camila smiled at Lauren. "Let's go home Laur."

Hey everyone. There's so much drama going on right now. Camren feels so dead right now, someone please help my despair. Also, I'm happy the girls are happy without Camila, but that was low from Lauren to act like that and say that their energy is now cleared when they were asked about the whole unfollowing issue. They should take example of how Camila reacts towards 5H. The fandom is being divided by the second and I don't know how I feel about it all. Also, I'm super proud of Camila on Bruno Mars's tour.
