The two lovers finished up their little tournament, Marinette had dominated. She was just too good at that game. Luckily, Adrien was never a sore loser.

"Okay, okay. I give up." He set his controller down, "I'll never beat you, you goddess of Ultimate Mecha Strike III!"

She giggled and kissed his cheek, "You just need more practice."

He smiled at her before checking the time, "It's getting late. I should head home. I'm sure my dad's secretary is throwing a fit right now."

Marinette nodded, "Yeah, she called while you were in the bathroom but I said I didn't know where you were. And then I texted our friends to tell them where you were but not to tell her, that way they wouldn't worry when she called them." She giggled. She knew he just needed to get out of his house for a while.

"Thank you." He kissed her forehead before standing up.

She nodded, "No problem. I'll walk you down."

They walked down together, stopping at the exit of the bakery. He turned to kiss her goodbye, feeling their zing again.

Then he was off, walking home alone.
