Today is the day.

Today is the day we leave.

Today is the day I say goodbye.

Today is the day we go to find the key to Ezrod.

I pull out my big black duffel bag. I start putting in clothes, lots of clothes. Then I put in essentials, toothbrush, toothpaste, stuff like that. I add some boots and a pair of runners.

Thalia comes into my room.

"Hey, need help?" She asks.

"I'm all good." I say.

"Were the past three days fun enough?" Thalia asks.

"Yes." I smile.

-Three days ago-

"Ready Ivy? Today we are going to hang out in town." Thalia says.

"Yeah, I'm ready." I smile back.

We head out to the car and the first place we see to park, we park.

We walk through the streets, going into stores and acting silly.

We even went to the local grocery store... Although we got kicked out.

We had lunch at the café I used to study at with Bryan.

Then we continued with shopping. I even talked to people I hadn't seen in a while.

It was a fun and happy day!

-Two days ago-

"Thalia let's go to the nature trails. Hang out at our spot with dad." I say.

"Good idea. We can stay there until lunch!" Thalia smiles.

We go there and hang out, talking about random stuff, climbing trees and all that fun stuff.

When we get home we watch a movie with the whole family, all the Evans included.

Then we talk some more.

That was another fun, but more relaxed day.

-Yesterday-

I visit Cezars grave for the last time in a long time.

"So I'm leaving tomorrow. No more visits... I'm sorry for that. I hope you won't mind that I won't be visiting.
"I promised Thalia I'd be back in a year. When I get back, I'll visit you again. Another promise." I say.

I look at his grave.

"Goodbye Cezar." I whisper.

I walk back to the house.

For the rest of the day we swim, have a family party, and chill in the Evans hot tub.

Another fun day. My last day.

-Present Time-

"That's good." Thalia says.

"Thanks for planning them for me."

"Your welcome."

"Let's go to the Evans."

"Yeah. Okay."

We quietly walk out of the house. As soon as I step off the porch I look at my house. I climb into the car still looking at the house.

When we are out of view of the house I sigh, I won't be seeing it for a while.

We get to the Evans and I pass a glowing orb. I'm drawn to it.

I want it.

I climb out of the car and reach out to touch it.
