Chapter 8

Laura walked in to the book shop Ben stood there smiling at her.
"What are you smiling at?
Ben held up the newspaper with Laura and tom on the front. With the headline Tom Hardy and his new girl.
She took it out of his hands laughing
"Yeh alright the whole world knows now have you seen his instagram"
"No show me"
She put her stuff away and got her phone out to show him there was so many more likes and comments on there then there was half hour ago. God he had a lot of fans.
"Wow look at you two, all loved up"
"God he is hot isn't he" Laura said
"Who's Alice? Ben asked
Laura's face went white
"What? Why? She said as she took the phone
She read a few comments this Alice had wrote
Dirty whore such a slag he will cheat on her
Laura clicked on her profile and instantly recognised Alice has toms ex.
"Toms ex" Laura said as she put her phone back on her pocket.
"Oh dose that bother you? Ben asked
"No not really" Laura lied

Tom had just finished the meeting with Alex with the scripts for his next movie he sat and had a coffee looking at his phone he was looking at the picture of him and Laura couldn't help but smile she made him so happy, and it felt like they had been together for ages even tho it had been a few days.
He was going to be off filming in LA next week he was going to miss her so much he was really hoping she would come out and see him why he was filming as he really didn't want to be away from her for that long.
He sent her text
Can't stop thinking about you xxx

Within seconds she replied

Me either I can't concentrate at work xx

Laura decided just to ignore the comments from Alice and not mention it to Tom. She really didn't want to make a big deal out of it.

Laura finished work at 7 as she walked out the shop and locked the door soon as she turned round there was a man standing there with a camera flashing in Laura's face
"Wow watch it will you" Laura said holding her hands up to her face with the brightness.
"How does it feel to be tom Hardys girlfriend? Did you know he has had a string of women?
"Sorry I don't want to talk" Laura started to walk away but he followed her closely
"Did you know Toms ex has said that you split them up?
"Please leave me alone"
He kept following her very close
"Come on your have to get used to this now if you want to date Tom hardy"
Laura stopped and turned to him
"Please just go leave me alone"
He wouldn't take no for an answer and kept following her
"Toms ex always gave me interviews you can't run away from it"
He was beginning to scare Laura and tears fell down her face she picked up her pace and started to run he also started to run after her still flashing his camera at her., which scared her. She was running in her work shoes which were not practical as they were high heels when she lost her footing falling really hard on to the floor the guy flashed his camera at her and ran off in another direction.
Laura hit her head and cut all up her legs she cried out in pain. She slowly got up from the floor looking down at her legs which were both bleeding and felt her head which was to bleeding. Tears streamed down her face as she began to walk home it was dark and her phone started to ring which made her jump she pulled her phone out her bag and saw Tom flashing up on the screen
"Hello" Laura sobbed
"Babe what's up?
Laura just broke down crying
"Babe where are you? Tom said sounding worried
"Walking home from work just near the park"
"I am coming straight to you"
Laura sat down on a bench near the park within minutes a car came speeding up beside her and out jumped Tom who raced to her
"Oh my god Laura what the hell happened"
He helped Laura up and helped her in the car she was shaking he put the heater up to try keep her warm and put his jacket over her shoulders.
"There was a journalist following me he wouldn't leave me alone kept asking me questions getting to close I kept telling him to leave me alone so I ran and lost my footing and fell" Laura cried
Tom held her close
"I am going to fucking kill him did he say what paper he was from?
"No"
"Let's get you home, tom had hands free phone he rung his agent told him what happened
"I am going to fucking kill him when I find him you should see her Alex... right I got to go"
They pulled up at Laura's apartment and tom scooped Laura up carrying her in doors.
