Feeling a shiver up my spine, I put down the paintbrush.

"What's wrong?" Austin, who was surprisingly pointing a brush full of red paint near my cheeks, asked.

I fell backwards on my chair, "Are we... was I- no way."

Kitian stared at me in amusement and helped me up.

"Use proper English." Austin said and continued to paint.

I giggled, "So we do have a subject together."

"And she changed, didn't she?" Kitian asked in exasperation.

"I think she did." Austin replied, laughing uncontrollably.

"Yup, I did." I said with a giggle.

"She did!" Both of them exclaimed and did a little happy dance with their hands.

"Dayana's group, please observe discipline and continue your work." Mr. Williams told us.

I rolled my eyes, "Or what?"

I felt Kitian nudge me but I ignored him.

"I do not tolerate that tone in my classroom, young lady." He told me.

"So should I have that attitude or nah?" I asked him, tilting my head to the side.

"You shouldn't." He said, crossing his arms.

"But I was born like this." I whined.

"Oh?" He asked, arching an eyebrow.

I tried to do the same but looked like I was trying to wink but my eye couldn't close.

"What are you doing?!" Austin asked in a whisper-yell tone.

"Having fun." I said with a smirk.

"Ms. Autumn, if you do not behave, I will have no choice but give your group minus points." He threatened.

I sighed. If Leon wouldn't give me the silent-treatment every time I cause trouble in school, I would've burned— no, drowned this school in chocolate syrup.

Stop looking at me like that.

"Fine." I mumbled and looked at what Ana has done so far.

"So..." Austin started.

"Ana usually draws cute things, why did I draw a monkey? Well, monkeys are cute but not this monkey." I said.

Austin pouted, "That's me."

"I know." I said, sticking my tongue out like a cat.

"Meanie." He said and continued to paint.

I grabbed the paintbrush next to my drawing book and dipped it in the red paint.

I started to paint Austin's red highlights on his tousled brown hair.

"Hey, you painted my hair so good!" Austin said.

"Yeah, you managed to make it look handsome in contrast to the one in real life." Kitian commented.

"Is that an insult?" Austin demanded.

I nodded, "I think it was. Don't worry though, I think it looks cute on you."

"See?" Austin said and ran his hand through his hair.

"My ginger hair is better than yours." Kitian told him.

I giggled and started working on Austin's hazel green eyes.

I sensed them going back to work too.

I glanced at Austin, managing to see his long eyelashes.

I sighed and painted the eyelashes a bit longer.

"Ta-da!" I said when I finished the eyes.

"Why are my eyes gold?" Austin asked.

"They're gold 'cause I painted them gold.

"Yeah but aren't his eyes supposed to be hazel?" Kitian asked.

I shushed him, "I think gold eyes suit his highlights more, so I painted it like that."

"Then if I think pink hair suits you better should I paint it pink?" Kitian asked.

"No." Austin and I said in unison.

"I get you not wanting me to paint it pink, but why did you disagree, Austin?" Kitian asked, tilting his head to his side.

"Pink is the ugliest color ever." Austin remarked.

I gasped, no it is not, green is!

I hit the back of his head with a pencil I found.

"What the helling hell was that for?!" He exclaimed, rubbing his head.

"Green is the ug-"

"Ms. Autumn's group, final warning." Mr. Williams warned us.

I giggled, "But we're just arguing over this and that."

"Arguing?" He asked, arching his eyebrow again.

How does he do that? Show off...

"Arguing about how I painted the portrait. I mean, it's about the project we're doing, so aren't we allowed to argue about it?" I asked with a smirk.

He opened his mouth to protest but closed it and went back to checking- I'm guessing pop-quizzes from his other classes.

I went back to painting.

"When do you think you'll finish your paintings?" Kitian asked, blowing his Ramen.

I pouted. Can't believe he got the last Ramen from the cafeteria.

"Why're you pouting?" Xander asked me.

"I wanted Ramen, but no, Kitian just had to take it." I replied.

"Say 'ah'." Xander said and held out Ramen to me.

I happily opened my mouth and ate the amazing food.

"I love you so much, Xander!" I said, smiling cheekily.

Jacob suddenly started choking on his sandwhich.

"Wh-" cough, "-ere is my water?" He asked.

Kitian handed him his water bottle and Jacob drank it all in one gulp.

"Why were you suddenly choking?" I asked him.

"It must be because of the jelly in his sandwhich." Austin said with a smirk.

"Hey, I suddenly want some jelo." Kitian said with a smirk.

"First of all, why would he choke on jelly? Secondly, get yourself some." I told them.

Xander sighed and murmured something like 'tense' or 'lens'.

"What?" I asked him.

"Nothing." He replied, getting a spoon.

"Are you gonna kill all of us with that spoon?!" I exclaimed.

"You're really something." Jacob commented.

"Aw, thanks Ice!" I said and gave him a cheeky smile.

"Yup, they forgot our existence." Austin told Kitian.

I laughed and hugged both of their necks.

Xander and Jacob choked.

"Really, I sometimes want some peanut butter and jelly when I go on picnics." Austin said.

I let go of their heads, "Nah."

The two boys quikly gulped down water and ate as if they were in a hurry.

"Hey, you might get an upset stomach if you eat too fast- wait, does it work that way?" I asked the other two boys.

They shrugged.

"So you're concerned about them?" Austin asked.

"Nah, I hate 'em, but I love you guys." I said.

Xander and Jacob choked again.

"Jelly jelly." Austin and Kitian said in unison.
