Your P.O.V. -

After dropping off my clothes in my room, I came back into the bridge just to see Shiro barking orders so we can get to the Blade of Marmora headquarters.

"Coran, how soon will we get to the Blade of Marmora's base?", Shiro asked Coran as I sat down in my chair.

"Based on the coordinates that Ulaz gave us, we should be there within a few doboshes," Coran answered.

"I can't wait to see it!", Pidge exclaimed. "I mean, they were able to fold space-time, and that was just at an outpost!"

"Mm. The space taco. It left us too soon," Hunk said and his stomach growled.

"Well, sure, but my point is, imagine how amazing their home base will be!", Pidge exclaimed again.

"Exactly. It could take on any shape. Like a space jelly donut. Or long, like a space éclair. Or a space cheese blintz with a cherry sauce on top. Maybe a little dusting of powered sugar. That's the stars," Hunk made himself even more hungry.

"Aw! Now I'm hungry for breakfast!", Lance whined.

"Guys, this is a serious mission. We need to focus," Keith said.

"'We need to focus'," Lance mocked Keith.

"La~nce," I said, annoyed.

"What?", he asked.

"The base is in range," Coran said.

"Take us in slowly," Shiro said.

"That might prove the tiniest bit of a challenge," Coran said.

All of us were then able to look through the ship's windows to see, what looked like, two black holes with a planet in the middle.

"Is that a black hole?", Hunk asked.

"No, no, no, no," Coran answered. "It's two black holes and a giant blue star."

"That's not better," Hunk said.

"No kidding. Just inside a black hole, the temperature is one-millionth of a degree above absolute zero," Pidge explained. "But, just outside of that, it's hundreds of millions of degrees Celsius."

"Okay, it's like when you try to nuke a frozen burrito in the microwave, and it comes out all scorching hot on the outside, but it's still frozen on the inside, right?", Hunk asked.

"Now I'm hungry for lunch!", Lance whined, again.

"Guys, quiet!", Keith snapped.

"Coran, where's the base located?", I asked.

"In between those three celestial objects," Coran said as he zoomed in on the star.

"The perfect defensive position," Pidge said.

"Or the perfect trap," Allura added.

"Yeah, I'm with Allura. Maybe we shouldn't, like, go in there at all?", Hunk said.

"What are you talking about? We have to go in!", Keith yelled. "This is the whole reason why we came out here! There is no other option!"

"Keith! Calm down," I said as I put my hand on his shoulder.

"Yeah, jeez Keith," Lance said and I glared at him.

"Identify yourself," a robotic voice said over the screen.

"Open a hailing frequency, Coran," Shiro said.

"We are the Paladins of Voltron, sent here by Ulaz," Shiro announced to the voice and we all waited for a response.
