Demons Love (Rumple x reader)

Granny's

The next few days was a lot of sneaking around. I could only hug and kiss him when no one else was around. I was trying to trust him, but it was getting hard. I mean, he wasn't the most trust worthy man out there, but I loved him so I tried.

I walked into Granny's and ran strait into one of the men who worked at the flower shop. Today was off to a great start. "I'm so sorry."

"It's fine. I was just going for a smoke. Maybe this is God's way of telling me it's time to quit." He smiled and sat back down at a table.

I hopped up on the bar stool. Ruby came up to me, "What can I get ya?"

"Just a lemonade."

She walked away to get my drink. I heard the door open, and turned to see Rumple and Belle walking in hand in hand. I caught his eye for a second before I spun around. I folded my arms on the counter and put my head down.

"What's the matter?" Ruby asked placing my glass in front of me. "Oh."

I sat up, "Yeah."

"I thought you said they were breaking up."

"Me too. He says 'It's complicated' 'Trust me'." I picked up my drink and took a sip.

"I'll be back." I watched her walk around the counter and walk over to their table. Then she sat down next to Belle! I couldn't believe her. What was she doing? I was going to regret this.

Rumple's POV

I walked into Granny's with Belle. The moment I walked in the door I locked eyes with y/n, but she looked away from me. I really wish I could fix this situation, but I couldn't.

I went and sat down with Belle. She was telling me about some book she had been reading, but I wasn't paying attention. I couldn't wile y/n looked so upset. Maybe she was sick. I wanted to get up and go over to her, but I couldn't.

Ruby came and sat down with Belle. "Hey guys."

I looked at her, confused, "Can I help you miss Lucas?"

"I just wanted to give you a quick tip. Make sure you are on the right side of the battle. If you hurt the wrong person, well I might have to rip out your throat with my teeth." With that she got up and left.

She didn't understand. I was on the right side. I was doing what was best. This way the fewest people got hurt. It was safe this way. How could no one see? No one understood!

"Are you okay Rumple?" Belle placed a gentle hand on mine.

"What?"

"You are breathing pretty fast."

"Oh yes, I'm fine. Now, what would you like to eat." I tried to ignore the feeling of multiple sets of eyes drilling holes in the back of my head.

Your POV

Ruby and I stared and Rumple and Belle. How could he do this!? Ugh! I spun back around to face Ruby, "I've got to go. I'll talk to you later."

"Okay, bye."

I waved to her as I left.
