Chapter 20

"You promise you'll go slow right?" Olivia questioned while holding on tight to Courtney's waist.
Courtney had talked her into riding a jet ski and she was terrified.
"Just keep your life jacket on and you'll be fine" Courtney replied with a big grin on her face.
She pushed down on the gas and they shot off into the deeper part of the lake.
Olivia was yelling at Courtney to slow down but she just laughed.
After about five minutes Courtney found a little island and beached the jet ski.
"Come on Liv, you'll be fine the water is shallow right here"
Olivia shook her head.
"Alrighty then" Courtney said as she picked Olivia up and carried her to the shore.
"Thanks" Olivia said quietly and kissed Courtney on the cheek.
"So do you wanna explore then?" Courtney questioned
"Yeah".

Olivia and Courtney had been wandering around the small island for about half an hour when Courtney decided to stop.
"Hey let's have lunch here" She said pointing towards a small clearing overlooking the water.
"But we didn't bring any" Olivia replied looking confused.
"Oh yeah, well that's why I came here earlier and left some." Courtney said picking up a picnic basket from behind a tree.
"Are you kidding me?" Olivia asked laughing
"You are something else Courtney Miller" she finished.
"I wanted it to be the perfect day for my wife" Courtney smiled.
They began to eat the sandwiches Courtney packed. They ate in silence until Courtney looked at Olivia, grabbed the sandwich out of her hand, and put it down.
"What're you doing?" Olivia questioned with a big smile on her face.
"Just looking at you" Courtney replied smiling.
She leaned in and began to kiss Olivia, who kissed back.
Courtney pushed forward laying Olivia on her back. They didn't do anything other than kiss because Courtney had decided that then and there wasn't the right time.
She eventually sat up, breaking the kiss.
"Olivia, can we talk?" She questioned.
Olivia looked at her with a worried look and nodded.
"I-I wanted to give you a present" she said nervously.
Courtney pulled out a small box and handed it to Olivia.
"What is thi-" Olivia began to ask but was cut off.
"Just open it" Courtney replied.
Inside the box was a key.
"Courtney we already live together" Olivia chuckled.
"No I uh, I got us a house" she said blushing.
"What?! Where did you get the money?!"
"I had enough for a down payment. And uh the good thing is it's really close to our old apartment so we can see Mari whenever".
Courtney looked at Olivia, who was crying.
"I love you. And you deserve the best, like I said I can't promise we'll be rich but I'm doing everything I can to make you feel special" Courtney blushed.
"Being with you is special enough, I love you too" Olivia replied
