As an exercise, try describing what you see when you go outside—I mean every little detail. It doesn't have to be perfect in terms of expressive language, imagery, and all of that, not at first. The point is for you to become an observer. When you do that, then include what you've written (your time outside) in the COMMENTS section. I'd really like to see what you come up with. We can discuss refinements later.
If you see birds out, what color are the birds, what sounds are they making? What cars are driving by? Are the engines loud or quiet? Is the setting busy or noisy? Things like that. Just everything you observe when you step outside your door into the world in front of it.
