I hear a loud beep and all of the sudden Xander tackles me.

"What the hell man?" I ask

"I just saved your life. The floor just dropped," he says.

I look over my shoulder and all I can see is darkness. "Thanks is an order I guess."

"Nah, I'm just saving your life, as has become my most recent hobby," he smiles at me.

"Ya know, you don't have to make me sound helpless," I say, half smiling at him.

"But you kind of are."

"I am not!"

"Okay. Whatever helps you sleep at night."

I smack the back of his head, "You've always been a smart ass."

We slowly fall until we reach the ground again.

"What are we doing here?" I ask.

"You'll see soon enough," Xander says.

We walk down more hallways, "This is taking too long!" I complain.

"We're almost there. You're going to have to learn how to be patient, Meg."

"Yes, very much so," someone else says.
