Chapter 17

My last draft got deleted, so I had to remake one.

The day has finally come.

Today I go on my first date with Jihyo.

I feel so tensed.

My friends were helping me prepare.

They told me everything I had to do.

I nodded, understanding every word they said.

" Okay, I'm ready" I said.

" Good luck Namjoon" jungkook said before hugging me.

" Thanks kookie" I said hugging back.

I opened the front door with a bouquet of flowers in my hand and waved my friends goodbye, before I left.

I felt happy I had such great friends.

If it weren't for them, I'd still be a weird nerd, who didn't have a girlfriend.

I was still feeling a bit nervous.

I hope Jihyo would like this date.

I think everything is going to go out as planned.

Time Skip

I arrived at the best restaurant in Seoul.

I remember Irene telling me that Jihyo already wanted to go here.

So I booked a reservation for two here, even if it was a lot of money, it's still worth it.

I walked in and saw Jihyo waiting for me.

I handed her the bouquet and she thanked me.

" Your welcome" I said.

I then reached my hand out for her to hold, and
she automatically took it.

I walked her over to our table, then we sat down.

" How did you know I always wanted to come here" she asked.

" Irene told me" I said.

" Of course" she said.

I chuckled a bit, then our waiter came.

We ordered the steak, since it was the most
recommended item.

When our food came, in already smelt great.
" Oh my god, this is amazing" I said.

" I know, this place has such great food" she said.

After we finished, we ordered dessert.
I almost died.

They're chocolate cake was like how Seokjin cooked, and his cake is always the best.

After we finished, I payed for the checked then left.

We went on a walk at the bridge nearby.

We stopped at the middle of the bridge and looked at the view for a bit.

" Thank you so much for this night Namjoon" she said.

" Your welcome" I said.
" Why did you want to ask me out anyways" she asked.

I took a deep breath before I answered.
" Because I've liked you ever since you moved to our school. I never wanted to tell you because I didn't know how you would react. I'm sorry" I said.

She stared at me in shock.

What is she going to say.

" Namjoon, I've always liked you. I actually wanted to tell you how I felt, but I couldn't" she said.

I sighed in relief.

" I know this might be a little sudden, but-
Would you like to be my girlfriend" I said.

She looked at me before answering.

" Yes Namjoon" she said with forming in her eyes.

I smiled before giving her a hug.

She hugged me back, then we stood there for a while.

I released from the hug and looked at her.

I leaned down and I felt our lips touch.

' Is this really happening' I thought.

We broke the kiss and hugged each other again.

She rested her head in my chest and I rested
my chin on the top of her head.

I'm so happy I finally have a girlfriend.
I think this relationship is going to turn out well.
