Jonah's POVEveryone left the treehouse to look for Michelle while I stayed in the treehouse. "We will always have each other," rung in my head like a bell. I waited for what seemed like hours until I heard soft footsteps climb into the treehouse.
"Michelle I'm so sorry.." I casually wrapped my arm around her waist, feeling her hesitate before accepting my gesture.
"You don't have to talk. Just listen. I'm so sorry I didn't call you or even send a text. I'm sorry I didn't visit you. I'm sorry I called you out for something you didn't do. Please forgive me.." At first, the tension grew and we bathed in silence until I cut the ice again.
"I remember now. I'm an idiot for not recognizing you."
"I'm glad you remember. I'm finally able to talk to you about the pictures and videos when we were younger" she sighed, relief on her face. She took out her old phone before showing me all the old photos and videos of us being together before I went to La.
"I assume you two made up?" We looked out to see everyone staring down at us.
"Yeah. In fact I should properly introduce her to you guys. This is Michelle, my childhood friend." Michelle shyly smiled at everyone as Christina bursted out with a loud 'phew'.
"Thank gosh! I couldn't stand you two not connecting properly." Michelle rolled her eyes as everyone sat around us.
"So you're saying she's been you friend since you were a child...You forget about her then you two reconnect?" We nodded. They then each asked a bunch of questions like "What were you two like before?" Or "Did you two ever date?" In the meantime Logan whipped out his vlog camera, recording it all.
Michelle's pov
"So you two have known each other since what age?"
"I was seven while Jonah was nine years of age."
"Geez, you two go way back."
"Sadly." I laughed while Jonah playfully glared at me. "I'm kidding, sheesh"
"Do you have pictures of you two when you were younger?" I nodded and showed everyone some pictures.
"Woah..That's what your treehouse looked like back then? And it has the same carpet it does here."
"Jonah you tryin to smash?" Jonah flipped him off while I rolled my eyes.
"Jonah's been trying to smash girls since he was 15," I whispered into the camera.
"Still..Jonah why didn't you visit her? How could you forget about her?" We all looked at Jonah to see his face turn into guilt.
"Well, my phone broke and I didn't know your address when I came back to Minnesota. But either way nothing really happened between then and now so it's okay." I glanced at Christina in worry, knowing I told her everything. She knows what happened when he was gone. Me going under depression and visiting the treehouse everyday hoping he'd come back.
"Shoot. We gotta go. It's 9 pm.." I nodded as we started to head out the door.
"I'm so sorry about that..It was great seeing you guys!" We said our goodbyes leaving Christina and I.
"I'm glad he finally got it in his head. Wanna just sleep over?"
"Sure."
We decided we'd sleep in the treehouse for tonight. We were posting and constantly snapchatting funny things of ourselves until Christina got a text.
