I felt a smile creep on my lips as Daniel, Zach and Jack rooted for Jonah in the background. The song playing for couples ended, to only have another one play. Instead of dancing in a hallway all by ourselves, making sure no one saw us, we went on the dance floor. At first we swayed to the beat together, until I felt my hands go to another gentleman. He seemed like he was in his early 20's. I looked at Jonah in desperation to only see him go away from my sight.

"He's a keeper!" The older boy announced. I smiled and nodded before going to another man. It was...Zach?

"Zach when did you get a dancing partner?" I asked.

"Jack, Daniel and I all started dancing until we all were taken away by three people, and now we're trying to get back together" he explained. I laughed from how goofy and adorable those three are.

"I'm positive you'll find one of them." And with that, I was swept away from Zach to...

"You're trying to get back to your dance partner too?" I asked Corbyn. His eyes glowed when he realized it was me.

"Yeah. Christina is somewhere. I'll find her soon!"

"That's the spirit! You go Corbyn!" I felt myself go to another man.

"Who's that boy you were dancing the first time?" I recognized that voice.

It was my father.

"Jonah" I whispered. He looked me deeply in my eyes before sighing. It was awkward silence for a few minutes before he smiled down at me.

"He better keep you safe." I then felt myself get thrown to the middle to find myself in Jonah's arms once again.

"You have no clue what happened while we had to dance with other people" Jonah muttered. I laughed and swayed to the beat with him.

"You don't either. I danced with Zach, Corbyn, and my father. I was surprised he didn't get angry I was dancing in a couple dance the first place" I explained.

"Not as bad as mine, I had to dance with three girls who fangirled about some of the boys..And your sister! She threatened to do unimaginable things to me if I broke your heart!" I looked at my sister, who was dancing with a stranger, to give me a wink and a thumbs up.

"I'm sorry. My sister is a psychopath and overprotective. She gets it from my parents" I joked.

"Are you?"

"Well...There was that one time I got angry at you for bringing your girlfriend here" I confessed.

"No, you'd get mad at me for bringing anyone to the treehouse!" I chuckled to myself from all those memories of me either pouting or complaining about his friends (Or girlfriend) being in the treehouse.

"That was only 9 times out of all those years we've been friends!" I defended.

"Will it change if we become something more?" I looked at him confused before he stopped dancing.

"Jonah..What do you mean?" I asked, worried.

"Michelle-" I watched as Zach "Sneakily" handed him a rose behind his back- "I have been in love with you for God knows how long. Never seeing you again for a year truly broke my heart. A year later I see the girl I've loved all those years. As if a wave crashed onto me-"

"How many times did you practice saying this in the bathroom? Hell yes I'd love to be your girlfriend!" I exclaimed. Everyone started clapping as I received the rose and pulled him into a kiss. I heard Christina crying while the boys were shouting things like "You go Jonah!" and "Finally!"

We pulled away right before seeing my sister and father walk up to us. Panic sparked inside of me as they slowly clapped for us. "You better take care of her" Jonah frantically nodded before my sister went up to him. Too close for comfort.

"I don't want my older sister to date a guy that doesn't know how to blow his nose. I promise you I will hunt you down if you hurt her in any way." She left the terrain, my father soon following. I looked around and everyone was now dancing, aside from the boys and Christina. They left to go back to the side.

...

...

Jonah and I were having a Harry Potter marathon, and I eventually had to close my eyes. I promised Jonah I'd stay awake, but my eyes were simply too heavy. I wanted to keep them open, I needed to, for tonight was the last night I'd ever have a Harry Potter marathon with Jonah.

"Michelle?" I could tell he was disappointed I "Fell asleep"

"Yeah?" I sleepily murmured.

"Do you want to go to sleep?" I had to admit. The darkness around me urged me to deep sleep, yet I fought for Jonah.

"N-No. I'll be okay awake." I then felt myself get lifted up into Jonah's arms. I started crying because this will be the last night I'll ever be with Jonah. "I can still watch one more movie! Don't worry about me!" I protested.

"You're sleeping Michelle, I'm seeing you tomorrow right before I leave" he excused.

"But..I'll never have a movie marathon with you ever again" I whispered.

"I promise you we will." I couldn't fight anymore, I was simply too sleepy. I gave up and nodded. I could tell Jonah smiled because he finally set me down onto my bed.

"Goodnight. I'll meet you at the treehouse."

"G'night." Even though he walked away from me, I knew he wasn't out of my room. After a few minutes I let out a tired sigh, indicating I couldn't sleep.

"Can't sleep?" He asked.

"Yeah." I then felt his weight shift the other side of the bed, until he was next to me. He wrapped his arms around me taking in my scent. I couldn't tell if he was enjoying this or feeling awkward about it, but in the end I could tell he was happy. I mentally cried when he left the bed and started walking out, but sleepiness engulfed me like a blanket.

"Sweet dreams. Love you" was the last thing I heard before the darkness fully consumed me.
