Liz's pov: We made it to the beach just as the sun was getting ready to rise. We sat down in the sand in comfortable silence, just watching the pretty sunrise. After it was all the way up, Zach finally stood up wiping away any sand that was on his pants. He held his hand out, I took it and pulled me up. I wiped the sand off the back of my shorts.

"I should probably take you home, before you get yelled at more." Zach said.

"Let's just walk along side the water." I said.

"I don't want you to get in trouble because of me." He said.

"You didn't exactly force me to come, I chose to so it wouldn't be your fault." I said.

"I know, but still." He said.

I started walking along side of the water.

"You coming or what?" I called over my shoulder.

"Of course." He said.

I could hear the hesitation in his voice and knew he didn't think it was a good idea to stay a little longer, but I honestly don't care if I get in trouble. Soon enough, Zach was walking right beside me.

"You know life's a beach sometimes." I said.

"A beach?" Zach asked.

"I didn't feel like saying the actual word." I said.

He nodded.

"Elizabeth?" He asked.

I hummed.

"Did you talk to Brandon or Kylie about seeing them making out?" He asked.

"No." I said.

"You know you should though, right?" He said.

"Yeah, I know." I said sighing.

"So what do you think of my band mates?" He asked.

"Well I didn't spend too much time with them obviously, but they're great." I said.

"Anything else?" He asked.

"I mean they are all hot." I teased.

"But I'm hotter." He said.

I looked at him and saw he was smirking.

"Eh you're okay." I joked.

He pretended to be hurt which caused me to giggle. He smiled at me.

"What?" I asked.

He looked away from me.

"Nothing." He said shaking his head, still smiling.

"We better get going." I said.

"Yeah." He said.

*time to skip to arriving at my house*

"Thanks for the adventure, Z." I said as I got out the car.

"Anytime, E." Zach said before I shut the door.

I walked inside my house and Brandon stood there with his arms crossed.

"Why were you with my best friend?" Brandon asked sternly.

"Why were you making out with my best friend yesterday?" I shot back.

He turned pale and gulped.

"Didn't think I would find out did ya?" I asked then shoved him out of my way and went upstairs to my room.

I closed my door behind me then laid down in bed and stared up at my ceiling. There was a knock at my door.
