Chapter 7: Stars; IS JEALOUSY A SIGN OF LOVE?

The next day, I called Greyson a million times but he didn't answer. 3 days had passed that we didn't go to the park together nor eat our favorite ice creams. 

"Wasted look?" Louis said looking at me strangely.

"What?" I asked.

"I've realized that you're not with Greyson for almost 3 days."

"This is the fourth day I'm not with him." I said. "What's got into him?"

"Maybe he's with an another girl." Louis said.

"Yeah, you've got a point but how? I mean, no one hangs out with him except me."

"Oh you're mean."

"No, really."

"Call him." Louis said.

"I called him a million times but he didn't even answer." I answered.

"Gimme your phone."

"Why?"

"Just give me your phone."

I gave him my phone and he called Greyson.

"Hey, this is Greyson. Leave a message." 

"See?" I said.

"Yo, Jason. I mean, Greyson. Come over at my house later at 2pm. See ya. This is Louis, btw." Louis leave a message.

"Why did you just do that?" 

"What's the prob? He's like my bestfriend too."

I rolled my eyes and went back to my room and took a nap.

"Hey, wake up!"

I opened my eyes and it was Greyson.

"Oh, Greyson." I said fixing my hair. 

"Sorry, I didn't answer to your calls." He said.

"It's okay." I smiled. "Where have you been?"

"Well, to be honest, there's this girl I really like and I made something special for her that took me for 3 days." He shared. I smiled. I think that girl is me. I looked at his sparkling eyes while he's talking. 

"Then, later at 4pm, I'll give her flowers, chocolates and the.. the special thing I made just for her." He shared.

I felt really happy. I know that girl is me. I know. I just know. I can feel it. 

"Uhm, [YN]. Can you do me a favor?" Greyson asked.

"Oh, sure Greyson. Anything." I said.

"Would you help me prepare?" 

"Oh sure. But why?"

"I'm going to have a date with someone." 

''What did I just hear from him? Date???''

"Uhm, date with who?"

"Lauren." He smiled.

My smile disappeared. 

"So, would you help me?" He asked.

"Yeah, sure." I answered. "Why not?"

"Cool. See you at 3pm."

"Okay. See ya."

He went out of my room and I watched him go out and go home by the window. My heart shattered into pieces. I felt tears coming out of my eyes. Why should I cry? He's not even mine. He's only my bestfriend but.. I think I love him already.

3:54 pm.~

"[YN], Greyson is here waiing for you." Mom shouted.

"Tell him I have a fever. I can't go." I shouted back.

"Sorry, Greyson." Mom said to Greyson.

"It's okay, Mrs. [Your Last Name]." He said. "I understand. I should be going now."

Greyson stood up from our couch and he was about to go outside when..

"Wait." I shouted.

He turned back and smiled at me. 

"I'm going with you." I smiled back but deep inside, jealousy is taking over my body.
