I look at the flood of comments on my instagram through blurry eyes. A tear drops onto my screen, and I wipe it away quickly. In the background, my parents can be heard. Yelling at eachother. About money, about work, about anything under the sun. Them fighting is like a cherry on top of the fucking cake.
To say I had a bad day would be an understatement, and to come home and read these comments on my instagram is horrible; but one comment stands out from the rest. "don't even get me started on why we hate you" - nadiaturner21.
What could I have done, what could I have possibly done to make her hate me? I haven't stolen her friends, or her popularity, or anything juvenile like that. I've done nothing, actually nothing, that could possibly hurt her or jeopardise her perfect reputation.
So why me?
