I pulled into the loading zone out the back of the work building and was greeted by a grinning Sally. 'Thank you so much darling! You're a life saver.' She grinned at me as I stumbled out of the van. As soon as I had enough room around me, I stretched outwards in an attempt to uncramp my stiff muscles. Even though I had only been sitting down for about two and a bit hours, I was still aching all over.

'I hope it wasn't too much trouble?' She asked me politely.

What I wanted to say was 'Of course it was too much trouble. I found out I was a nutter. I met someone who had the same eyes as a wolf and who growled like one to, so after 2 and a half hours of thinking; which was a horrible idea to do, I'm pretty sure some mythical creature isn't as much as a myth as we all think. So pretty much, I talked to a werewolf, kicked a werewolf in the balls, almost drove off the highway thanks to the werewolf, ate McDonalds; a food which I hate because I dropped the cookies because I had to run away from a werewolf, I was too scared to leave the van in case of meeting another werewolf or the same crazy werewolf from Apollo Bay and was paranoid the whole drive home. So no, no trouble at all.' I would have answered sarcastically and all in one breathe.

But instead of answering sarcastically, I said 'No trouble at all,' with a forced smile on my face.

'Did you stop by and see the back beach?' She asked me.

Did I ever, I replied in my head but said out loud 'I did. It's something isn't it?'

'It is. Absolutely beautiful. It's always deserted. Let me know if you want to go surfing down there and I'll give you another load to pick up from the warehouse.'

There's no way in hell I'm going back there, I thought to myself. 'Thanks Sally, I'll let you know if I do or not.' I replied, giving no definite answer.

'That's good hunny, just help Lenny and Jacob unload the lighter stuff and you're free to go home.' She grinned at me. With a nod of my head, I grabbed a medium sized box filled with tee-shirts and walked through the double doors leading inside the building to drop them off in the back storage room while passing Lenny and Jacob on the way.

Lenny and Jacob were, how do you put it nicely? Those two guys were strange characters. Both of them got hired straight out of high school and have been here for about 4 months. Both of the boys were 19 and total opposites of one another, yet happened to be great mates with each other.

Lenny had shaggy brown hair with a small side section dyed blond. He was around 5'11" and easy on the eye. His right arm was covered in a tattoo sleeve which looked sick. Lenny had piercings everywhere; ears, eyebrow, nose, lips, nipple, tongue, you name it and he more than likely have got it pierced. The cool thing is, is that he pulls it off. He doesn't make it look tacky or make him look intimidating, he still looks like a genuine nice bloke with permanent decorations on his skin.

His girlfriend Sarah was the biggest cow out there and I wouldn't shed a tear if she got hit by a bus.

I once confronted Lenny about her, and not so politely told him she was a cow. She went absolutely ballistic at me because I smiled at Lenny one day in the shop while she was there, and she automatically called me a whore. He apologized on her behalf and said he was only staying with her because she was a good shag. Typical, hormonal, male teenager right there for you ladies and gentlemen.

Jacob was a complete opposite of Lenny. Jacobs's hair was blond and neatly cut. He was the same height as Lenny, 5'11ish maybe a centimeter or two shorter. His skin was clean; no permanent markings, no hole punctures for metal rings to go in, no hair dye. He always dressed nicely and he never looked like a slob (at least not the times I've seen him.) His pants stayed on his hips, not half way down his arse for the world to see if he was wearing bonds or underworks boxers. Jacobs's girlfriend was lovely. She was exactly the same as Jacob, neat and proper. She had just turned 18 but we still got along, despite the 5 year age difference between the two of us.
