Chapter Thirty Three (Final Chapter!)

Well, this is the final chapter.

Wow.

I'd just love to say thank you to those who have stuck around for the whole story if you've made it this far and put up with my excessive amount of commas! I know every writer says this but it's unbelievable the amount of support I've had throughout red, so thank you so so so so so much!

The sound of heavy thudding against the solid ground snapped my attention from Michael's words of comfort as I turned my head slowly towards the tree line. Michael's arms instantly tightened around me and I couldn't help but wince slightly from the extra pressure grazing on my stomach. Not opening my mouth to complain, I silently watched as seven wolves appeared from the dark forest trees.

The sound of snapping bones filled the silence as Reece shifted back to his human form. His back was to me and I averted my gaze from his figure as another wolf placed a pair of brown shorts at his feet.

I could feels Michaels gaze on me as I averted my eyes and when I looked up to see his deep brown orbs, I could see a pleased look in his eyes. Assuming it was from me looking away and not being interested in another's mans body other than his.

'What the fuck happened?' Reece suddenly boomed as he stormed over to us. A small black wolf paddered along side him at a quick pace to keep up with his powerful strides as they neared closer and closer to us.

Michael lowly growled as Reece's angry size made his way towards us, once again tightening his grip on my aching body.

'Michael,' I muttered to him through clenched teeth. Instantly his grip loosened on me and loving apologies were whispered quietly into my ear, soft patterns traced on my skin to take my mind from the stinging on my body.

'Michael. Don't fucking call me at 6:27 in the morning and demand a pack doctor in such a hurry, then growl at me as I race out here to help your sorry ass. How the fuck are you even here?' Reece ranted loudly, flailing his arms about everywhere to get out his anger.

'Fucking Richard attacked her Reece. Can you not see how injured she is.' Michael yelled back equalling his tone of anger whilst gesturing to my bloodied form.

A small whimper left the little black wolves lips as it crept towards us, tail between its legs and ears flat against its head. Slowly it creeped up in a non threatening manner and curiosity swarmed me as I wanted to know who it is.

'Maddie, don't get to close.' Reece huffed as his strong arms darted out to wrap around Maddie's neck and pull her back into the safety of him. Maddie however wouldn't take the protective gesture as she growled at him and nipped at his arm, not enough to cause pain or a scratch but enough to tell him to back off.

I couldn't help but let out a small laugh at this, a small pout of anger and hurt crossed Reece's features. Michael seemed cautious and on edge as Maddie crept forwards but made no move to stop her. He however moved his body slightly so he was a slightly more infront of me, ready incase anything went wrong.

'Maddie I really don't want you near Michael when-' Reece started but trailed off as Maddie rubbed her snout on the inside of my palm showing her non threatening motive. I found it quite strange, an Alpha female submitting in a way to someone ranked less than them.

The nose caused me to suck in a sharp breath as the cold and slightly damp snout pushed into my hand. It reminded me exactly of a dog, but I knew better than to voice my opinion.

Quickly Maddie retreated out of everyone's vision and into the tree line, only to return wearing a pair of black bike shirts and baggy orange shirt. Quickly stopping by the other five wolves she grabbed a bag one held in its strong jaw and scurried back over towards us.
