Chapter 3

Raven

We arrived in the parking area, but before we alight from the car, I kiss her lips quickly

"Nakakarami kana Vierci tumigil ka!" I raised my hands telling her that I surrender

"Alright, hinay hinay lang ako" I heard she chuckles sweetly.

We go to the mall and search for a restaurant. While walking, I hold her soft hand and entwined it with mine. Everyone is looking at us, but I can't hear them, unlike before every gossip curses my ears.

Sunny suddenly stops "Saan nga ba dito yun?" while scratching her forehead

I look around since mas matangkad ako kesa sa kaniya and just by looking, some people caught my eye. I don't know they're just looking at me like something is different

"Raven? Okay ka lang?" I look at Sunny and smiled at her. I don't want her to be bothered or maybe I'm just being paranoid

"Yes Amore may napansin lang ako but let's go over there baka nandoon or I can ask someone... wait" I walk towards the guard who's roaming around

"Excuse me? Alam mo ba kung saan ang bilihan ng pizza dito?" He just stares at me like he's seeing a ghost

"Hello?" I wave my hand in front of him to give some attention to me

"Ah---eh--level 4 po k-katabi ng elevator Ma'am"

"Grazie" then I go back to Sunny... She looks mad at me. What the hell did I do?

"Amore---" I call her, but she's just raised her eyebrow while looking at me like a knife

"Amore mo mukha mo!" Did I do something wrong? Or did I say something?

"Che cosa? I just ask the guard---what did I do?" She rolled her eyes

"Sobrang tulala sayo parang gusto kanang i-uwi! Kainis!" I smiled mischievously

"Ano? Ngiti ngiti ka dyan! Kala mo makukuha mo ko dyan?" Pag tataray pa niya

"Hmm--- bakit hindi ba kita makukuha sa ganito?" nilapit ko yung mukha ko sa mukha niya and I swear I want to kiss her right now

"I-Isa! Raven tumigil---" lalo ko pang nilapit ang mukha ko sa kaniya

"D-Dalawa! Vierci! Tumigil! Gutom na si Chichi!" Oo nga pala, kaya nilayo ko na ang mukha ko sakaniya dahil baka di ako makapag pigil na halikan siya

"Sige ngayon nakaligtas ka---mamaya hindi na" sabay kindat pero hindi ako nakaligtas sa kurot niya sa ilong ko

"Ouch--"

"Nababagay sayo yan pa cute ka kasi!" I just hold her hand and start walking again

We use the elevator to go up to level 4. Inside, were accompanied by the elevator attendant and 4 masculine men. I've seen them a while ago while looking around. Maybe a coincidence...

"Level 4," the attendant said.

"Thank you," I said in response. The door opened, I pull Sunny out of the elevator and see the pizza parlor. We went inside but there are too many people inline

"Raven, wait mo nalang ako, upo kana muna" I nodded and gave her my wallet. I sit beside an old lady who's also waiting. I look around again and saw that 4 men standing in the corner two fast foods away from us...this is bad. I can feel there's something odd about them

I look at Sunny, who's still in line waiting she looks at me and smiles. I smile back and act normal so those odd men will not think that I already know what's happening.
