Raven

"No... this can't be--"

I pick up the vial that contains my salvation hundreds of years ago. I didn't use this to Sunny, but how? It's impossible!

My strength left my body... how did this happen? I kneel and let my tears flow on the floor. I never intend to use this on her... but how come it's empty? I hear footsteps getting near

"R-Raven". I look at her with her sad eyes

"I'm s-sorry--g-gusto ko lang mabuhay siya--" my eyes went wide as I clench my teeth in anger and grab her collar

"H-How could you?! She cannot manage it!! How could you, Kim?! Y-You know how dangerous to use this to her!!" She grabs my hands that are choking her

"Ikaw ang nagsabi na gagawin ang lahat! Ngayon ginawa ko ang lahat! Sinubukan ko kahit alam kong walang kasiguraduhan at ikaw ang nag sabing iligtas natin siya!"

We are now bursting into tears. I know, but it's too dangerous and I know how she wanted to save Sunny, b-but what happened to me a hundred years ago was just a bit of luck!

I hear running footsteps towards us

"R-Raven! Ano bang ginagawa mo?! Put her down!" I didn't listen to Alex for my heart is full of anger and sorrow that I cannot contain any more

"Y-You don't know how dangerous it is! If you're not my friend, I will kill you for what have you done!!"

My fangs and my claws grew longer as my anger eats my whole being. I put her down and push her away

I-I can't control my senses! My senses are eating my conscious body... I can't let morte kill them

"AAAAAAAAAAH!!! Get out of here!!" I-I can't see everything became dark

No! Stop! Stop shifting!! No! Stop! Stop! Porfavore!

"Vierci! Gumising ka! Kontrolin mo ang sarili mo!"

"Raven!!" I kneel and start hitting my head on the floor to make myself unconscious, but this monster is too strong

"K-Kim tara na!! Umalis na tayo dito! H-Hindi na si Raven yan!!" I can smell their fear that is overflowing inside this room

"No! Alex tutulungan natin si Raven!!"

"K-Kim! Shoot me!"

My breathing becomes heavy---I can't control! I might kill them!

"Kill me!!" I beg for I am now useless... I have no will to live anymore, I just wanted to be with Sunny...

"Kill me...please"

"I'm sorry Raven!!" I hear Alex apologizes

A howl escapes from my mouth when I felt a striking sting on my vertebra. My whole body becomes numb and my breathing becomes heavier

"H-Help..."

"Raven---"

I heard a voice calling my name that makes my heart stop beating. A familiar heartbeat starts to pound...

"S-Sunny---" the last word that escapes from my mouth. Then I feel my consciousness leaves my body

I hold my head upon waking up. I saw myself human again

I stand up immediately from the bed when I remember what I have done a while ago... I must apologize to Kim but my knees are shaking

"Oh God---" I sat beside my bed. I failed every person that believes in me. I-I failed in saving Sunny... I lose her.

I hold my face while feeling my heart breaking into pieces like glass.

How can I tell Inang that I lose Sunny? That she's gone? How... how can I live now?

"Porfavore tell me, God"

I hear someone knocking on the door, but it didn't bother me

"R-Raven"

I saw Kim opened the door and she smells so differently

"Thank God! Gising kana natakot kami ng sobra!" A question mark has written all over on my face

"You've been asleep for five days! H-Hindi ko alam kung anong tinurok sayo ni Alex but I'm relieved na gising kana. Sa totoo lang natakot kami baka hindi kana magising"

I don't smell fear nor sadness. She took off the IV fluid on my right hand

"Wait, what? Five days?! Damn it! Where's Sunny?! Where's her body?! Kim! Tell me!"

I stand up but she holds my arm "R-Raven calm----"

"Kim! How can I fucking calm down?! My fiancée is dead and I am comatose for fucking five days how can you say calm down?!"

"Listen to me Raven, please. M-May gusto akong ipakita sayo. Trust me on this"

I can't read her so well "Sundan mo lang ako"

I stumble a little when I take my first step so Kim offers me a hand, she helps me to walk out of the room. Walks along the hallway--- down to the stairs and notice that nothing changes.

So many memories with Sunny keeps on hurting my heart over and over. The memories that I will cherish forever. I stop for a while and wipe my tears flowing on my face.

"I-m sorry Kim" but she didn't say anything.

"I'm sorry that I hurt you, I'm sorry that I failed to save Sunny--"

"Last step," she just told me when we take the last step on the stairs.

She didn't bother to say anything, and I can't sense her anymore since I feel weak

We continue to walk going to the back door where my garden is.

We stop in front of the door and face me

"Napatawad na kita" a hurtful smile shows on my face

"At alam kong napatawad ka na rin niya"

She then twists the doorknob and pushes the door that makes my heart stops beating.

A smile that made from heaven and an ocean-deep blue eyes melted my soul

"Raven"

A voice that can stop my world from turning...
