The steady hum of the oxygen machine as it filtered oxygen from the tank into Demi's nostrils was enough to keep both of them awake even though they were both trying to take mid-day naps, Demi especially because she had barely gotten any sleep last night. After a blissful two weeks in Egypt, Demi was hit with a bad case of bronchitis and the fact that she had asthma really wasn't helping either. After spending last night in the ER, they had decided to send her home with her own oxygen machine instead of just leaving her with the usual machine she used for her breathing treatments. After three days, Demi had cabin fever and was ready for this to be over, but having dealt with it before, she knew she just had to let it run its course through her body before she could really do anything. It was just a sucky situation because Demi had promised to take Maddie Christmas shopping this weekend and now she couldn't.

"Do you want some more soup?" Trey asked, looking over at the empty bread bowl from Panera Bread that had been delivered to the house.

"I'm not hungry," Demi said as she cuddled underneath the covers a little bit more.

Even though she had warned Trey that bronchitis was highly contagious and he would be better off sleeping in the guest room and checking on her in intervals, he was determined to stay right by her side, which she really appreciated. She was just hoping that next week it wouldn't be her holding a cloth to his mouth as he coughed up mucus.

"I never realized how shitty daytime television is," Trey commented as the "Wendy Williams Show" played.

They had decided not to put anything good on since they were trying to go to sleep, so instead they were stuck watching one of the basic cable shows and Wendy Williams just happened to come on. Demi had never watched her show before. And Trey wasn't a big fan of her so he hadn't watched it in a while.

"Would you still love me if I got my boobs done as big as hers?" Demi asked as she looked over at him with a cheeky smile on her face.

"I would but I think yours are the perfect size," he replied as she chuckled.

"Nice answer."

"So, today on the show we have the mother of one the biggest pop stars on the planet right now. Demi Lovato started off on Disney Channel but she has really blossomed into this triple threat, you know she's a model, a singer, and an actress as well. But what a lot of people don't know about is the strained relationship she has with her family, and I'm not talking about the Kardashians. Demi's mother, Dianna de la Garza has recently published a book called Raising a Star and she's here to discuss it today in her very first interview ever. Please welcome, Dianna de la Garza," Wendy introduced. As Dianna walked onto the stage, Trey grabbed the remote to change the channel but Demi stopped him. She definitely wasn't about to take her much needed nap now.
