Once Demi told Clara that she was okay with having a huge wedding, all bets were off

Once Demi told Clara that she was okay with having a huge wedding, all bets were off. That's why her and Cristo had been hauled out of bed at eight this morning and driven into the city, along with the rest of their family, for an engagement photoshoot. That's also why she had woken up to a camera crew setting up in her living room then shoving papers in her face right after she finished brushing her teeth. Kris had set them up for an E! Wedding Special but some of the footage would be in KUWTK as well. It was a bit overwhelming for her and Cristo seemed a little annoyed as well, but with Kris and Clara taking the reins on the wedding planning, Demi thought that meant that she wouldn't be feeling so overwhelmed all of the time. Obviously, she was wrong.

Demi: So, today we are taking pictures to go along with the announcement of our engagement. I don't really know what the theme is or anything but Vogue Bridal comes out in a few days so we want pictures to go along with our announcement. I don't really know how a photoshoot with both of our families is going to go. I'm also not sure how Cristo is going to do because he's not really much of a model. That's my job.

Demi watched as Maddie, Dianna, and Eddie entered the studio looking just as confused as she had this morning. Demi took a sip of her latte as Maddie rushed up to her but stopped once she realized she wouldn't be able to hug her because Jill was doing her eyebrows.

"Hey, Mads," Demi greeted, looking up from her phone just in time to notice Maddie's blue hair. Not blue tips. Blue hair. Smurf blue. Totally distracting in engagement photos blue. "What's going on with your hair?"

"Do you like it?" Maddie asked as Demi tried to hide the disgusted look on her face. Maddie was nearly 16 after all. And it wasn't like Demi hadn't dyed her hair a million times when she was younger. She just didn't think Maddie would have blue hair in her engagement photos.

"Is it going to be like that for the wedding?" Demi questioned as Maddie shrugged and played with the ends of it. Not teal. Not dark blue. Not so blue that it looked like black. Smurf blue. Clara would probably have a fit.

"I don't know, when is it?" Maddie retorted as Demi pursed her lips.

"We're thinking December...a Christmas wedding," Demi answered as Dianna "awed" in the background.

"You mean around the same time as my sweet sixteen?" Maddie reminded her as her face dropped. Demi opened her mouth to reply but Maddie cut her off again. "Whatever. I'm going to get into hair and makeup."

Demi: I understand why my sister would be upset about my wedding being around the same time as her birthday but she has a birthday every year. I really don't think it's that big of a deal but you know...teenagers.

"Where should we go, pumpkin?" Eddie asked as Demi looked around for the director of the shoot. She waved him over as soon as she caught his eye then pointed at her parents since Jill was lining her lips.
