"Repeat after me," Kim demanded as she shut her car off and took the key out of the ignition. "I will not fight my mother."

"She's not my mother," Demi corrected as she went to open the door, but Kim locked them before she did and stared at the side of her face until Demi decided to make eye contact with her.

"I will not fight Dianna."

"I will not fight Dianna...today."

"Demi...repeat after me. I will not get into a physical altercation with Dianna at any point in time."

"I will not get into a physical altercation with Dianna at any point in time," Demi huffed, causing Kim to let a smile spread across her lips before opening the door.

Kim was definitely the peacemaker of the family so whenever there was drama, she was the one who tried to fix it, even if she was the one who started it sometimes because she didn't know how to keep a secret. But instead of stressing Kris out and creating even more drama, Kim had volunteered to go with Demi to confront Dianna about her Wendy Williams interview. And since Christmas was next week and she could finally breathe on her own again, she decided to take Maddie Christmas shopping while she was at it. Killing two birds with one stone.

"Maybe she won't even be here. Maybe we can just grab Maddie and go," Kim said as they exited the car and Kim fixed her bone straight wig. Demi shook her head as they followed the stone path to the front door.

"No, Mads texted me and said she's here. That's why she wanted to get dropped off," Demi said as she opened the front door and walked right in. There was no need to knock. She paid the bills.

Kim trailed behind a little bit as they walked through the entry way into the open kitchen where everyone seemed to be. Maddie was sitting at the black granite counter on her phone, Eddie was messing around with something on the stove, Dallas was filing down her obnoxious neon pink nails, and Dianna was flipping through an interior design magazine. Kim felt a little out of place but she was here for moral support, which meant she probably wouldn't have to say anything.

"Oh, you're here. We can go!" Maddie rushed out, grabbing her bag and heading towards the door but Demi tugged her back.

"Actually, I need to talk to Dianna. Can we go somewhere more private?" Demi said, directing her attention towards Dianna. It took a few seconds but she finally looked up with an astonished expression on her face.

"Oh, you're talking to me?" She questioned, causing Demi to scoff as she rolled her eyes.

"You know what? Forget it. We can do this in front of everyone. Actually Mads, why don't you go sit in the car? I'll be out in a second," Demi commanded. Maddie didn't move an inch until Demi turned around and glared at her, prompting her little sister to finally leave before Demi turned back towards Dianna.
