Bonus Chapter

This chapter is set around the time they were in university.

It was August 31, a day before Jungkook's birthday. Soojin, Kyo and Sana decided to surprise him for his big day.

"How should we surprise him? We have to finish planning today or else we'll lose the chance." Kyo said as he sat on the table and looked at the two females. They were currently in Kyo's house planning the surprise.

"I have an idea and it's so cliché and all. So, how about we act like we don't know it's birthday and some time tomorrow while he's out of our shared apartment, we fix everything up inside amd when he comes in, you know. We surprise him and all." Soojin said while looking at Sana and Kyo for their approval.

"Hmmm... That's fine I guess but how about you leave the apartment early tomorrow, like you suddenly disappeared into thin air or something and then he doesn't see you until we surprise him. No calls and messages of course." Kyo suggested.

"So I practically hide from him or something? Well how about you two?" Soojin asked while looking at Sana.

"Well, since he doesn't know we both are here, it'll be easy to hide from him I guess." Sana said as she looked at Kyo.

"Okay. So what time will we setup the surprise and all?" Soojin asked

"What time does he come home?" Kyo asked Soojin.

"Well after his classes end at 2, he goes to his part time job, so he comes home usually around 9 or 10." Soojin replied

"Are you free around 7?" Kyo asked

"Yeah. So 7 it is?" Soojin said while looking at Sana.

"Sure." Sana exclaimed excitedly.

After their mini-meeting they went out to buy some decorations. Balloons, streamers, a banner which said Happy Birthday and a lot more.

-THE NEXT DAY-

Jungkook woke up to the sound of his alarm. Out of habit, he turned to his right to look at the familiar face, but no one was beside him.

"Soojin noona?" Jungkook called while sitting up. He looked around their room before checking the bathroom. But still she was nowhere to be found.

"She must've left already." Jungkook muttered. With that thought in mind, he went to the kitchen, and to his surprise there was breakfast laid on the table.

After eating and washing up, he went to the university.

"Hey Bro! Happy birthday!" Yugyeom, a friend of Jungkook greeted the said male while handing him a paper bag.

"Thanks. I'm glad that you remembered." Jungkook said as he laughed.

His classes finished and he finally checked his phone after how many hours.

Still no missed calls and messages.

With a heavy heart, Jungkook rode the bus to his part time job. After his job, he went back home.

Meanwhile, the trio just finished setting up the surprise and it was now time to just wait for Jungkook.

"Turn off the lights!" Soojin said as she stood behind the door.

After Kyo turned the lights off they stood near the door so they could use the party poppers.

After a few seconds, Jungkook finally opened the door. Then the party poppers went off.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY!" The trio chorused as confetti fell on Jungkook. Jungkook turned on the lights and saw the trio smiling.

"What the heck.. I thought you guys forgot about it." Jungkook said as he laughed and crouched down.

"Do you like our surprise?" Soojin said as she held a balloon in her hands.

"Yeah, thank you." Jungkook said as he stood up and pecked Soojin's lips.

"Well then, we're hungry. Let's eat already. And blow your candles birthday boy." Kyo said as they went to the kitchen.

They ate, chatted and had some fun. After partying like crazy, they all were tired so they proceeded to sleep.

"You both will be fine in the living room?" Soojin asked Sana and Kyo.

"Yeah. We'll be fine don't worry." Kyo replied while laying down on the sofa.

"Okay. Good night."

After Soojin closed the door, she laid down beside Jungkook.

"What did you think when I was gone already? Like when you just woke up?" Soojin said as she faced Jungkook.

"I just thought that you left already, so it was fine at first. But like after my classes ended and checked my phone, when I saw that there were no missed calls nor messages, my heart honestly dropped. I actually had two thoughts in mind. One was, you forgot about it, and two, something happened to you. So I started getting worried but just decided to go home after my job hoping that you would be here already. Then you guys surprised me. You honestly don't know how relieved I felt when I saw you." Jungkook said as he brushed away the hair covering Soojin's face.

"Kyo told me to not contact you so the surprise would work." Soojin said as she chuckled. "Well at least you liked our surprise."

"Hmm? You know. Not at all. I didn't like it." Jungkook jokingly said.

"Yah! Do you know how hard we worked just to set up all of those?" Soojin said.

"I know, I know. I'm just kidding. I did like it." Jungkook said as he smiled at Soojin.

"Sure?" Soojin said as she pouted.

"Sure." Jungkook said as he pecked her lips. "Now let's go to sleep." Jungkook said as he hugged Soojin.

"생일축하해. 사랑해 정국아 ." Soojin said as she hugged Jungkook back.

(Translation: Happy birthday. I love you Jungkook.)

"나도 사랑해." Jungkook said as they
fell asleep.

(Translation: I love you too.)
