Chapter 32

Ali's POV

I gasped again and covered my mouth as I cried tears of joy.

I looked over to Jace and noticed he was smiling as tears streamed down his face.

He looked at me and before anything else could happen he got up and kissed me passionately on the lips.

I kissed him back as his lips felt like the most amazing thing.

We pulled back and he rested his forehead against mine.

"Your having a boy and girl." He whispered.

"No Jace...we're having a boy and girl." I whispered back to him looking into his eyes.

I saw him close his eyes and I saw more silent tears run down his cheek.

But they were good tears...happy tears.

He opened his eyes and smiled.

"Yes Sweetheart."

He kissed me one last time before we pulled back.

I looked behind him and to Anna.
Just now remembering we had an audience.

"Sor-" I blushed but never got to finish my sentence as I realized she had her attention directed on the screen with her eyebrows furrowed and a confused expression.

Panic rose in my body and I started to get worried.

I raised up my back now straight and I squeezed Jace's hand tightly.

"Wh-what's wrong? Are the ba-babies okay?" I asked terrified.

I hope my babies are okay...

God let them be okay...

She turned back to me and looked between Jace and I.

I noticed Jace was also raised up in anticipation.

"Anna, please is there something wrong?" I heard his voice cut through the silence.

She kept looking between Jace and I before she turned to me.

"Allison?" She asked un surely.

"Yes?" I asked hesitantly.

"You've been pregnant for 3 months correct?" She asked.

Why was she asking me? She told me I was.

"Yes...where are you getting with this?" I asked.

"And when was the last time you had...um intercourse?" She asked a little embarrassed.

I blushed hard and looked to Jace.

He answered.

"Umm around 37 days." He told her a bit flushed.

She looked back to me.

"Allison...I don't know how to tell you this..." she trailed off with a look on her face that says 'how can this be possible'.

"What? What's wrong?" I asked as more panic rose in my chest.

"The rare possible has happened." She released a breathe.

"And by that you mean?..." Jace trailed off.

"The two babies have been conceived at two different times. The boy seems to have been conceived late August while the girl seems to have been conceived in very early October." She told us.
