No one requested this, it's just something I've been debating on writing for awhile now because of a dream I had about it, and finally had a chance to do it. It's a little sad, but I hope you guys still like it.

Warnings: don't let the fluffy beginning fool you, angst, pregnancy, labor, breastfeeding (I can't believe we live in a world where I have to put that as a warning, but I will rant about that some other time.), surgery, a couple time skips, there's a happy ending don't
worry

You couldn't believe it, it all happened so much faster than the first time around. For your first child, you and Steve had to consistently try for almost a year, not that you were complaining, but now only a month after the very first try, your wish was granted. Baby number two was now growing inside of you and on their way to becoming the new addition to your little family. It felt surreal almost, the two of you had only talked about this once and wanted to give it a try, but neither of you were expecting this to happen so fast.

"Positive." You whispered to yourself as you looked at one of the sticks on the bathroom sink. "Positive, positive, positive." You said again as you looked at the other ones that you took, just to be sure. "How do I tell Steve?" You wondered as you looked in the mirror, trying to think of a creative way to tell your husband this exciting news, but those thoughts were pushed aside for now once you heard the sound of your three year old from the other side of the bathroom door.

"Mommy, I'm hungry." He wined as he continued to knock, causing you to chuckle a bit at his actions. With a small smirk, you quickly opened the door and scooped him up into your arms, causing him to let out a squeal of excitement.

"My handsome boy is hungry, huh?" You asked as you kissed his cheek, smiling when you heard his little laugh. "What do you want for lunch?"

"Mac n cheese please!" He laughed as he wrapped his arms around your neck while you continued to walk through the halls of the compound with him.

"Hmm, that does sound pretty good, doesn't it?" You thought out loud. "You wanna go see if any of your aunts and uncles are here for lunch too?"

"Yeah! I hope Buck Buck is here!" He told you before wiggling is way out of your grip and running as fast as hit little legs would allow him.

"How come James likes Bucky more than me?" You heard the voice of your older brother from behind you.

"Because he lets him play with his metal arm all the time." You laughed as you continued through the halls with Tony.

"Yet you still won't let me take him to my lab or make him a suit." He pointed out. "You know, you're giving Bucky quite a bit of leverage over me, and I don't really approve of it."

"Yeah, well, if I spent my life waiting on your approval, little James wouldn't be here for you to fight over his love for, now would he?" You smirked as you finally made it to the kitchen.

"That was uncalled for." Tony responded before grabbing the things you needed to make lunch for your son, and for him as well. "If I had know that you and Capsicle made such adorable kids, I would have made him marry you the first day you met." He joked, causing you to splash a bit of water from the sink onto him. "What? It's a compliment! I don't think I've ever seen a kid out there as cute as James, unless of course you two had more."

You were about to respond, but once again your son had more important things to say. "Mommy! I can't find Buck Buck!" He wined as he hugged your leg.

"I'm sure he's somewhere around here sweetie." You told him as you ran your fingers through his hair, only to look up and see Bucky standing in the doorway with a smirk on his face. "Maybe you just didn't look harder, are you sure you looked everywhere?" You asked him.
