I did not fall in love
with his appearance,
looks mean nothing to me
I fell in love with
his letters
I fell in love with
his voice
His words
His expression
His emotion
His cold soul
opening up to me
As he leaked his feelings
onto the page
He made me feel warm
and fuzzy on the inside
And just like that
his shyness faded awaySometimes you find a diamond in the rough and others will tell you that it is worth nothing but as the saying goes... one mans junk is another mans treasure. Looks can be deceiving... Be careful what you throw away. The ugly duckling can turn into a beautiful swan. Oh, and I'm still a sucker for love letters even though it sounds ancient.

PoetryI lose myself in my words and I lose myself. You'll find pieces of my thoughts here, like shattered crystal. Poems are stories from the heart I suppose but these are hardly poems. They are more things I never said.
