If he loves you he'll spend time with you You wouldn't have to chase after him because he would "pursue you" instead He wouldn't feel as though you're a burden or an obligation He wouldn't feel as though you're "clingy" because he knows that the reason you are so clingy is because you care so much for him He wouldn't feel as though he is trapped He would be able to be "himself" around you instead of hiding behind the mask he shows the world He would "respect" you and your decisions He would "wait" for you He would always make time for you no matter how "busy" he is and he'll try to be with you no matter the "circumstances" He wouldn't let distance stand in his way and instead would make an "effort" to show up at your door He would know what he wants and he would be able to say what he wants He wouldn't doubt his feelings towards you He'll never lie to you and would be open and "honest" about "everything" He wouldn't have to reassure you that he "loves" you on a daily basis because you'll know it He would "trust" you with his life He'll tell you his "darkest secrets" And most importantly he'll "accept you" for who you are flaws and all because he knows that you accept him for who he is...
This is no boy I wrote about... this is a man... he does not whimper away like a coward or some sorry excuse of a man. He fights and stands his ground. He has your back through thick and thin, no matter what because he knows you will be there for him in the same way he is there for you. This is the man, woman deserve. This is the standards you should set for yourself.
