I don't want my heart to thaw
I like the ice it keeps me cold
It keeps me from shattering into pieces like the glass shards surrounding me
Love isn't hard
People just make it that way
Complications
they create
Everything is simple
I leave it to the hands of fate
I keep my feelings to myself
to save me
I don't want them to betray me
Broken
I am not
But cautious of
heartbreak quite a lot

PoetryI lose myself in my words and I lose myself. You'll find pieces of my thoughts here, like shattered crystal. Poems are stories from the heart I suppose but these are hardly poems. They are more things I never said.
