Why do you look in the mirror so
much they said
Is it that you look at yourself in
admiration
vanity
and confidence
Or are you not happy with what you
see?
I am not vain
But a person who looks in a mirror
and sees their flaws
And indeed I do
I see all of mine
Yet I am not ungrateful for what I was
given
Fixing them up only destroys me
So why do I look at myself as if I am
broken?
When there is nothing broken but
rather me who is destroying me
So if I can't fix myself and only
destroy myself
I will make the world beautiful
around me
And that will be my legacy

PoetryI lose myself in my words and I lose myself. You'll find pieces of my thoughts here, like shattered crystal. Poems are stories from the heart I suppose but these are hardly poems. They are more things I never said.
