Introduction

Hello Yukitina at your service! Yoroshiku (nice to meet you)! I'm here to be your anime guide, feel free to ask anything but it must be about anime. I'm going to write here different randomness about anime; like quotes, lyrics, rankings, and specially recommendations.

I will be your tour guide to the anime world, are you a beginner when it comes to anime? Are you confused what to watch in those millions of anime? Do you want to know common words usually used in anime? If ever this qustions came to your mind before or in the future Yukitina is here to answer all that!

First of all what is ANIME?

A Japanese style of motion picture animation, yet is more commonly used by Westerners to refer to animation produced exclusively in Japan. Otherwise, the term refers to all animation according to the Japanese language.

*sigh* Too complicated! Let's explain it in an understandable way for me anime is my world, just joking...Make sure to remember that anime is not cartoons! Anime is not only for fun or pleasure, you can also learn things from here but when the anime you are watching has killing of course its bad to do that.

If you are a beginner let's start from picking your preferred genre, there are different genre and this are some of them:

Romance

Do you prefer sweet and cute moments? Then this is the right genre for you. Well usually anime with romance genre target girls in their teens, and of course it has the usual happy ending. I started in this genre when I'm a beginner in anime and most of the best anime with this genre that I watched is Kaichou wa maid sama where the typical love and hate appears. But if you are focused on the sweet and clumsy love story Kimi ni todoke is the right show for you. In the future I will review more anime with this genre.

Action

Bam! Boom! Dun dun dun! Hahaha just trying to make sounds that I usually hear in action anime. Ahem! If you want to watch thrilling and exciting anime then this is your genre. Anime that is categorized in this genre are usually one of the popular series. One of this are NARUTO, ONE PIECE, FAIRYTAIL; but if you don't have any patience in watching loooooong anime then this is not your cup of tea but I told you, you shouldn't skip these three because its one of the best anime that was made.

Ecchi

Boing Boing, when you hear the word ecchi what is the first thing comes into your mind? For me when I was young ecchi is not something I should watch but when I turned 14 I realized that ecchi and hentai are different. This genre usually mix with different other genre like actions or harems they are also known as fan service. But don't get scared if you see this genre because its not like hentai that shows you a sexual intercourse for pleasure and doesn't have any story or plot....there are many ecchi anime with great plot like High school DXD.

Harem

Its something that people want to experience. Protagonists are surrounded, usually amorously, by three or more members of the opposing sex and/or love interests. Male-oriented harems are usually common. You will really wish to be the protagonists but for female lead its called the reverse harem where girls go kya kya because of handsome guy characters that love the protagonists. Well for harem its very rare to have an ending sometimes the protagonists won't have a partner in the end an example of this is To aru majutsu no index while for the reverse harem is Uta no prince sama maji love 1000%.

Mecha

Do you love robots getting in action? It's the genre where the lead character gets to pilot a robot or something mechanical. I don't usually watch this kind of genre I don't know why maybe I just really don't feel it. These are the anime that I recommend; Code Geass, Gundam seed, Kakumei valvrave and Susei no gargantia. This will be one of the genres that I will review in the future.

Slice of life

Well this genre is getting popular in this generation, maybe because many people want to watch a heartwarming story. Usually slice of life genre focus on group of friends doing things they want to do. One of the best anime that I recommend is Hanasaku Iroha, Tamako Market.

Comedy

Hahahahaha this is the current genre that I am focused on. This genre focuses on things that will make you laugh until you die. This are usually teamed up with slice of life genre and action genre. If you want a light comedy then watch kimi to boku and working! But if you really want to laugh your hearts out I totally recommend Setokai Yakuindomo and Danshi Koukousei no nichijou and Servant x Service that I just finished.

Drama

If you want to watch this genre makes sure to have lots of tissue beside you and ready for a huge wave of feels. This usually have a nice flow in the story, there are many anime that made me cry one of those are Clannad, Ano hana, Angel beats.

Sports

Well as the genre says sports the story is focused on sports. If you love to watch exciting anime that fights in different tournaments you should watch Kuroko no Basket, Prince of tennis and the newest show Haikyuu! But if you want a story that focused on sports but more on their daily life watch Ryo Kyu Bu!

Music

Like sports they're focused on music, you should watch K-on! And Tari-Tari they are one of music genres anime that I loved.

Mystery and Thriller

Are you more into suspense or difficult story lines then you should have this genre. This is one of my favorite genres also, so I recommend you to watch this; Shinrei tantei yakumo, Ghost hunt, Gosick, if you love gory things then watch Another, and Mirrai Nikki.

And finally the two different genres that is rare to appear and people don't usually watch is:

Yuri

Yuri is also known as girls love or two girls falling in love to each other. Well I don't watch anime with this genre maybe because as a fellow girl it might awaken something inside me so its pretty awkward to see two girls getting hot to each other. But there's two yuri anime that I love Yuru Yuri and Maria Holic.

Yaoi

Yaoi~! My heaven! Yep I'm a yaoi lover in other words a fujoshi! But of course I won't focus on this genre because I love it and many people finds this genre disturbing but I don't care I love what I love we have our own taste. Yaoi is also known as boys love where two guys falling in love with each other. If you want to try a different genre then try this, I recommend Sekaiichi Hatsukoi and Junjou Romantica.
