there's a good reason this title is so long, you just haven't figured it out yet

state of the art?

you know in kids of the dark by all time low, there's that part that goes:
'we come together, state of the art, we'll never surrender, the kids in the dark, sO LET THE WORLD SING'?

what does state of the art mean? i've always wondered but felt too stupid to ask
