The man was tall and had broad shoulders. He was dressed in a black Armani suit. His inky, short hair was styled upwards and his brows were full and thick. The man's lips were thin and his jaws were strong and beautifully shaped.

He watched his wife sitting in the hospital bed and she seemed to lost in her thoughts. He crossed his arms as his mind took him back to a few months ago.

"Grandfather, you know Crystal is being unreasonable", Jason spoke and put the phone on speaker.

"You brat! Regardless she's your wife. Be a man and get your damn arse home!", Grandpa Knight scolded his grandson. Jason sighed and agreed with him. He was immensely tired due to a lot of paperwork and they had been arguing about the same issue for nearly an hour now. Defeated, Jason changed the curse towards their house which was placed in the outskirt of the city.

After forty minutes, he pulled up in the driveway. He got out of the car and handed the butler the car key and prepared himself for the worst as he went inside the house.

Once he was inside, a newspaper was thrown on his face. Luckily, he dodged it since he was used to it and the newspaper fell on the ground. He picked it up and sighed. Not again...

"What now", he blankly stared at the furious Crystal. Her brown hair was let down in loose curls and she wore a beautiful yellow dress. Her face was flawless, not a hint of pimples or acne were visible on her face. In other words, she was gorgeous. She was a beauty but Jason could care less about that. Her ugly personality overshadowed her beauty and she only brought him troubles and headaches.

"What now?! You bastard! It has been three weeks since you came home and I have been miserable reading about you with other women in the newspapers", she yelled and stepped towards him.

Jason rubbed his temples and tried to control his anger. "Crystal, you know this is all business-related. The women you speak about are either my employees or my business partners. We have talked about this before", he reminded her but she wouldn't have any of it. Crystal was blinded by jealousy that she failed to detect right from wrong. In her eyes as long as a woman was near Jason, she was an enemy.

"You think I'm stupid?! I wasn't born yesterday!" She cried and punched him on his chest. Jason grabbed her hand. "Stop using violence! Can't we have a conversation like adults?"

Crystal stopped moving and raised her head. She looked at her husband's handsome face. A teardrop fell down her cheek. Anger, frustrations, fury and confusion, these feelings she felt were burning her up. "Can't you just love me?" She sobbed and started to cry hysteric.

Jason closed his eyes. What did she not understand? He had tried and tried to explain to her that all of this was just inside of her head. She wouldn't listen to him and because of her several female employees had resigned. He had given up on them, her and him. Crystal wasn't the same girl he knew since childhood. She had changed and so did he. "I want a divorce", Jason announced and hell broke loose.

"Who are you?" A subtle voice woke him up from his thoughts. He focused his eyes on the girl who was still sitting on the bed. He frowned his brows and unfolded his arms.

He walked towards her and stopped when there were just two meters between them. "Don't you remember me?" His voice was calm, yet, deep. She shook her head and cluelessly stared at him. The fact about her memory loss seemed to be true.

Jason sat down on the bed and glanced at her. "I'm Jason". Crystal slightly tilted her head to the side. So...this was the former Crystal's husband. Crystal cast her eyes downwards and played with her slim fingers. "Are you alright?", he asked with coldness. She flinched and looked up at him. He had startled her with his sharp voice.

Jason slightly furrowed his brow at her action. He watched her helplessly staring at him. Actually, the reason why Crystal ran out of the house and met with a car accident because he brought up divorcement.

She was silent and wouldn't talk to him. Jason sighed and looked away. When Grandpa Knight found out about the incident, he beat up Jason. Even if it wasn't his grandson's fault, Grandpa Knight was always on Crystal's side. She had always been his favorite since she was a baby. Therefore, he didn't mind when Rose wouldn't marry Jason. Grandpa Knight had threatened Jason, and Jason being Jason listened to his grandfather. Jason owed his life to him. His grandfather was the one who raised him and took care of him ever since his parents died in a plane crash. Jason wanted to be filial and listen to his grandfather's wishes.

After an awkward moment, Crystal finally spoke, "... about the divorce". This sentence immediately caught Jason's attention. Didn't she lose her memories? Crystal seemed to guess his thought and said, "Rose informed me about everything...". Rose knew about what's happening in her sister's life because the former Crystal and she had a very close relationship. They told each other everything and all. Before the former Crystal met a car accident, she was on the phone with Rose.

Jason just slightly nodded his head. A hint of suspiciousness glinted in his emerald green eyes before it disappeared. "What about it", he stated. She bit her lower plum lips and his eyes followed the movement she made. Jason noticed that her lips were rosy and a little bit dry. Her lips weren't either too thin nor too thick.

"I... I'll talk to Grandfather Knight about it", Crystal announced and stared at his face. Jason narrowed his brows. "What do you mean?", he asked her. He couldn't understand why she brought the divorce up when she couldn't remember everything...

"I'll tell our grandparents that I believe a divorce between us is the best for everyone", Crystal expressed herself. Now that she had gotten a second chance to live, she will not waste it and live for herself. Ever since she met that jerk, she had forgotten how to cherish herself. She forgot to appreciate her lovingly family. She lost herself and strayed from her morals. She was blinded by love. She had accepted that she died and reincarnated into a girl who has the same name as her. She will live her life and start anew. She will not keep insignificant people who keep affecting her in negative ways around.

"Is this what you want?" Jason wanted to make sure what she was doing because there's no way going back once it has been done. He didn't want her to pester him or go back on her words in the future. Crystal nodded and said, "I'll tell them after a few months", she informed him. She had to recover first and then take action. Jason agreed and looked straight at her eyes. Green against blue. "I hope you won't go back on our agreement", he stated in a very serious tone. The corner of Crystal's mouth twitched slightly.

"Don't worry I won't but I hope you do the same".

He scoffed, "Of course I will keep my words". At the time he didn't know that this was the start of something beautiful, yet, heart-breaking – at least for him - thing between them. How he wished he could swallow these seven words in the near future.
