The next day, Crystal woke up from her wonderful sleep. She chose to wear a black, long skirt matched with a shoulder-off bodysuit today. Her hair was curled into big waves and she did her make-up simple today with just concealer and mascara. She looked into the mirror and applied on lip-gloss on her lips. Afterward, she put it into her black Chanel purse alongside with her phone and went downstairs.

Jason was already in the living room when she came in. He was dressed casually today. He wore a grey Polo sweater paired with blue jeans. He couldn't help but steal glances at her. He knew her fashion had changed but he couldn't get used to it. He wasn't used to the simple Crystal. Jason had to admit that she looked refreshing and beautiful, but he wasn't going to compliment her.

He cleared his throat. "Are you ready?" Crystal just nodded and walked past him. Her high heels clicked on the marble floor as Jason kept up with her. When they went into the huge garage, they got into a blue SUV and left for their destination which was the King's Family Mansion.

As soon as they got into the King's Family Mansion, they were greeted by Crystal's parents, her sister and her sister's husband. When everyone sat in the living room, Jason presented each one of them a present which he had prepared for them. Anna, Crystal's mom, got a limited perfume while Jeremy, Crystal's dad, got a bottle of Cheval Blanc from 1947. Both Anna and Jeremy were happy about their presents, but it was only Anna who thanked Jason. Jeremy just merely looked at the wine and put it onto the table. He awkwardly cleared his throat and acted like he didn't get one of his favorite wine. He was still not over how Jason had treated his daughter before the accident. Jeremy had lost count over how many times he had told his daughter to just forget about Jason and divorce him, but his daughter was very stubborn and refused. Thus, he couldn't do anything about the situation any longer and became a background person. Jeremy had talked to both of them, Jason and Crystal, but he didn't want to intervene in their lives anymore. Both of them were adults and could make their own decisions. He just decided to not like this son-in-law of his.

Rose, Crystal's sister, thanked Jason when she opened the box. Inside the box was the latest Stuart Weitzman High heels. She beamed as she caressed the high heels. It must have almost cost between 2-3 million US Dollars. Meanwhile, the-brother-in-law, got a Hublot big bang watch which consisted of 1,282 diamonds in total. Jason was very generous with his gifts since he rarely visited them in the past. Richard, Rose's husband, accepted the gift with the intention of giving Jason something equally expensive back. Richard didn't lack in money and he knew Jason was richer than him, but he hated the feeling of owing someone.

"Where's my favorite granddaughter-in-law?" An old man beamed when he came into the living room. He walked towards them supporting himself with a wooden stick. The old man wore glasses and his once black hair had turned white. It was obvious that time had taken a toll on him.

The old man was none other than Jason's grandfather. "There she is!" Grandpa Knight exclaimed in happiness as he sat down beside her on the couch. Crystal looked into his warm eyes and felt a sense of happiness flowing through her body. She smiled back at him.

"Look at you! My poor favorite granddaughter has gotten thinner!", Grandpa Knight furrowed his brows and then glared at his grandson. "This is all your fault, Jason! How could you not properly feed my dear granddaughter?", he scolded Jason like a child. Jason mentally rolled his eyes and wanted to retort with that Crystal was perfectly healthy and that she had two hands she could feed herself with. In the end, Jason was silent because he didn't want to get scolded more.

Then Grandpa Knight widened his eyes and faced Crystal. "Omo! How could I forget!", he slapped his forehead, "you have amnesia! Do you remember me?" He expectantly looked at Crystal.

Crystal shook her head. "Don't worry. Grandpa will help you remember but don't stress too much! It's okay if you don't remember. Don't force yourself, okay?" Grandpa Knight smiled warmly at her and patted her head. "Okay... g-grandpa", she shyly said.

Then he beamed and laughed out loud. "Good, good!", he said and continued, "Grandpa is sorry for not visiting you when you were hospitalized...grandpa was stuck in Germany handling someone's mess". Grandpa Knight glared at Jason when he said this. Jason sighed and recollected that he had offended a German businessman who was a long-term business partner. Anyway, he couldn't care less but Grandfather Knight valued his relationship with his business partner which was something Jason didn't understand. Jason was a businessman and knew when to stop valuing things that lost its value, and that's the reason why he was here today. The reason why he got so far in his career.

Crystal answered, "Don't worry about it". Then everyone made small talk and Jason stayed quiet. He only answered when he was talked to. Grandfather Knight wasn't supposed to be here but when he heard that Crystal was going to be here, he invited himself. The Kings didn't have anything against him being here because they were family and they loved him.

Grandfather Knight and Grandfather King were childhood friends. They got into business together and were business partners till Grandfather King died. They even had the same wedding when they wedded their own wives. They were inseparable even though they both were married. Grandmother Knight and Grandmother King had always joked to each other that their husbands were like a married couple. Both Grandmother Knight and King passed away in a plane crash. Grandfather King and Grandpa Knight were devasted, but they had to be strong for their families. They made a promise to unite their family by marriage through the children and then Grandfather King passed away due to heart disease, Grandpa King had to go through with the promise.

Soon, everyone sat around the dining table. "Where's Ryan and Riley? I miss those cuties", Crystal asked her sister as she ate the broccoli. Rose answered, "They are at home with their nanny". Ryan and Riley were only two years old and therefore they couldn't bring the twins wherever they wanted.

Grandpa Knight's ears grew when he heard about the twins. He cheekily smiled and looked at Crystal and Jason. "Speaking of the twins...when are you going to give me grandbabies?" He stared at both of them with big dreamy eyes. Crystal almost choked while Jason awkwardly cleared his throat.
