After discussing with Gio, Crystal left. She stepped into her bedroom which had been remodeled after her request. Jason helped her with contacting an interior designer. The walls were painted in a royal grey color, and so was the ceiling. The bed was big and soft, and the pillows were covered in silk, gold pillowcase. A round, luxurious chandelier was hanging on the ceiling in the middle of the room, and what Crystal loved the most was the unique design on the wall above the bed.

She spent the rest of the evening replacing the wardrobe with the new clothes she bought. Then she sorted the old clothes and divided them into two sections: donating and selling. Since she had transmigrated, she had learned a lot about this modern world. Of course, she was fascinated, and she felt thrilled about the technology. She browsed through the internet and found out that people could earn money by selling their items. She sent her sister a message asking how to sell things online, and her sister recommended her an app called "Selling&Buying" (A/N: I obviously made it up). Crystal didn't wait for another second to download the app on her smartphone. After she was done placing all of her new clothes in the walk-in-closet, she made an account on the app. She changed her clothes and jumped on the soft bed.

Going through social media, Crystal spotted some news about her.

"JASON KNIGHT'S WIFE HAS GONE MAD!"

"DAUGHTER OF JEREMY KING AND WIFE OF JASON KNIGHT TRIED TO KILL HERSELF!"

"CRYSTAL KING-KNIGHT WAS SPOTTED WITH THE ONLY GIO NEGRO!"

"KNIGHT'S WIFE IS CHEATING ON HIM WITH A RETIRED MODEL!"

Crystal furrowed her eyebrows and sighed. She, personally, didn't care about those nonsense rumors but she knew they would affect her family. Suddenly, her phone rang, and it was her dad, Jeremy Knight. "Hi dad", Crystal said. "Hello, sweetheart. I saw the news... are you alright?" She smiled and answered, "Umm...yes. I'm not worried but I'm worried that the rumors would affect you". She could hear Jeremy laughed out loud. "Hoho, I'm so happy that my daughter is worried about me, wait till I tell your grandpa about this. Anyways, don't worry about me. Nothing can take this old man". Crystal shifted her position and laid on her stomach. "How are you and mom?", she asked. "Your mom and I are healthy as a horse, speaking of this why don't you and Jason come over for dinner this Saturday?" Crystal wanted to decline but Jeremy sounded so excited and thus she accepted his dinner invitation.

"I'm very curious as to why were you at the café with Gio Negro?" Crystal started to explain to him about what happened and that Gio wanted her to be his model. "Honey, our daughter's going to be a model. Can you believe that?" Crystal could hear him telling his wife on the phone. She smiled because she knew he couldn't believe it. The former Crystal was 24 years old and had a business degree which she never used because she became a housewife. Jason encouraged her to work, but she didn't want to because she wanted to focus on Jason. Even her family tried to reason with her, but she wouldn't budge and just like that her business degree went to waste. Now that Jeremy knew that his daughter wanted to work, he was more than happy. He didn't care about what type of job it was as long as it made her happy. "Sweetheart, have you signed the contract, and do you have a lawyer?" Crystal was supposed to meet Gio tomorrow to sign the contract. "No and no. Why?"

"Great! Daddy can send you one of my lawyers and they'll help you!" Jeremy was worried because he had heard many terrible things about the modeling industry. He had heard about young women using their bodies to achieve what they want or models who were tricked into signing an unfair contract. He knew that Gio Negro was an honest man, but this was his daughter. He didn't want to take a risk. Jeremy had only good intentions towards his daughter. Crystal was obvious to his thoughts and just agreed. She didn't know much about the industry anyways.

After talking for a while with her parents, she became thirsty and walked down to the kitchen. She found a glass and filled it with water. She happily drank of the cup because she loved how easy it was to get water. They had a lot of tools which made every people's everyday life so much more easer in this world.

Jason was just done with his video meeting with one of his business partners. His stomach rumbled and he headed towards the kitchen from his study room. He spotted Crystal placing a glass in the dishwasher. He looked weirdly at her and gulped when he saw the way she was dressed. She wore short, baby pink shorts which revealed her long, fair legs and he could see her hard n*pples through her white t-shirt. Jason diverted his eyes and the tip of his ears started to grow red. The reason why Jason looked weirdly at Crystal was that she had never done any chores since they married even if she was a housewife. She used to just dump glasses, plates, forks, etc. on the kitchen counter.

Crystal turned around when she sensed Jason. He was wearing grey sweatpants matched with a grey sweater. She had to admit that he looked handsome in those strange clothes, and she could never think that short hair was sexy until she met him. She didn't have any ill feelings towards Jason because they were just strangers and he hadn't done anything to her. She didn't look for anything right now and she just wanted to focus on herself. She wanted to do things that made her happy and nothing could stop her.

"Are you free this Saturday?" Crystal spoke and made eye contact with Jason. He took out his phone from his sweater pocket and checked his schedule. "Apart from a meeting in the morning, I'm free. Why?" Jason put his phone on the kitchen island and opened a drawer filled with noodles and ramens. "Dad invited us to dinner", Crystal stated as she watched him finding a boiler before filling it with water. Then he turned on the stove, waiting for the water to boil.

He turned his head towards her. His deep, green eyes watched her as if she was his prey. "Alright". Crystal turned around and was about to exit the kitchen but stopped when she heard him say, "I read the news, or should I say rumors about you". He referred to the cheating rumors.

Jason leaned on the kitchen counter before dropping the ramen in the boiler. He watched Crystal turning around to face him and he smirked. "Believe what you want", Crystal spoke. She didn't really care what he thought of her and she didn't want to waste her breath on explaining things to him. Jason arched his dark and thick eyebrows. He crossed his arms and seriously looked into her ocean, blue eyes. His mouth opened, "Don't worry. I'll take care of it". Then he spun towards the stove and focused on the boiling ramen.
