Two days passed and with Aileen's guidance, Crystal progressed faster. They started first from just walking around with high heels then afterward they added on books on Crystal's head. Crystal didn't think that walking with heels would be so hard but it became easier with practice. She found walking with books on her head easy because she was used to it in her past life.

Exhausted from the work-out session with the personal trainer, Crystal slumped her way out of the company's building and got into the black van. Liza and Crystal greeted each other. They made small talk while Liza drove Crystal home.

Crystal walked into the mansion and immediately went to the kitchen. She opened the fridge and searched for food.

"Crystal?" A manly voice was heard. Jason sat in the living room, working on some contracts when he heard some noises.

Crystal ignored him because she was starving and didn't have the tolerance to talk to him, especially now. Jason appeared in the kitchen and found her standing in front of the fridge.

"Hungry?" He asked her while leaning on the wall with his arms crossed. Crystal nodded and glanced briefly at him. She noticed that he looked tired and his hair, which was normally styled, was now messy.

Jason moved to the oven and could feel the low heat from the oven the moment he opened it. "The chief made some lasagne for you". He took out the lasagne and turned off the heat. Then he said, "there's a salad in the fridge if you want some".

Crystal opened the cabinet and found a plate. She cut the warm lasagne and put it on her plate. Afterward, she found a fork and filled her plate with salad from a bowl that Jason had taken out. "Here's water". Jason placed the glass filled with cold water and ice on the island table. Crystal sat down on the tall stool and took a sip of the water. She nodded towards him and then started to eat.

Jason had this weird feeling inside his chest. He couldn't help but think that ever since Crystal lost her memories, she became different...like a whole different person. The person before him was silent and ...cold like she didn't really care for him. He tried to be civil with her because she had in fact lost her memories and she was still his wife-in-name.

He sighed and ignored that she ignored him. Jason started to step out of the kitchen but stopped when he heard a girly voice whisper, "Thanks". Then he turned around to face her but only to see that she continued eating the lasagne. "No problem", with that he walked out and to the living room to finish his work. The reason why he worked so late in the living room was to change his working environment, but deep inside he knew it was because he had rarely seen Crystal in the past few days. He noticed that she would come home at ten or eleven PM.

Crystal didn't bother thinking about Jason as she ate the lasagne. She sighed in happiness when she finished the food. It was so delicious. After she was done putting the tools inside the dishwasher, she dashed past the living room where Jason sat on the couch. He shook his head slightly and resumed to work.

After twenty minutes, Jason was finally done. He took all of his papers and stalked towards his study room to store the contracts in the safe locker. He checked his expensive clock on his wrist, and it showed 11:43.

Jason tiredly walked towards his bedroom and as he was about to open his door, he heard a loud noise. He moved his head towards the noise which leads to Crystal's room.

Knocking on her door, Jason came into her room after her permission. Jason watched Crystal who was standing in her walk-in-closet with high heels and a silky robe. He couldn't help but look at her slender legs and tiny waist. He gulped and shook his head slightly. Rubbing his eyes, he averted his gaze.
