Jason led Crystal to the main bathroom on the first floor, then he opened a cabinet and dragged a red, big kit out. He found alcohol, pads and a plaster.

He sighed and turned around to a confused Crystal. She was awfully quiet as she stared wide-eyed at the things on the counter. Crystal had never seen these things before. He let it go and put his hand before her.

Dumbfounded, she stared at his hand. "Hand", he said as he looked at her. She bit her lips and gently placed her hand on his. He smiled in satisfaction when he felt her warm hand before frowning. He tore his gaze away from her small hand and turned on the tap before placing her finger under the water.

Afterward, he found some pads and gently padded her wet finger, drying off the blood. Jason grabbed the alcohol and put it on her finger.

Crystal hissed in pain as she hastily pulled her hand away from his grip. Met with her glaring eyes, Jason was speechless. He tried to grab her hand, but she avoided him like a plague. She looked at him like he had stolen her candies.

"Give me your hand", he ordered. She looked away and refused him. Jason arched an eyebrow at her childishness. Unknowingly, a smile formed itself on his face. He had never seen her behave like this before. She used to be so arrogant and violent, but before Jason was a quiet and stubborn woman.

Before Crystal knew it, Jason sneaking grabbed her hand and added some alcohol on her finger. She shrieked in pain and jumped a little. "Jason!" She glared at him with angry eyes. What she hated the most in the world was pain. Jason ignored her whining and plastered a plaster on her finger. Then he let go of her and placed the kit back to the cabinet.

"That wasn't so difficult, was it?" Jason crossed his arms and leaned on the counter. With teary eyes, Crystal sniffled. She could still feel her finger sting as she held it towards her chest. Jason prepared himself for her wrath because he was used to her temper. He sighed and counted to three.

One

Two

Three

...

Nothing happened. Jason was baffled but hid it well. He looked at Crystal who had turned her back on him. He watched her leave the bathroom. He furrowed his brows because he wasn't used to this quiet version of her. The Crystal he knew was strong-willed, stubborn, jealous and fierce.

"Hateful!" Crystal humped and tramped her way out. She stopped walking and took a deep breath, trying to calm herself down. So, he was the husband of the former owner. She admitted that Jason was strikingly handsome, but she had become immune to handsome men. There were a lot of handsome men in her previous life. Even she, herself, was gorgeous.

When she was finally calm, she took a look at her bandaged finger. Warmth slowly filled her heart before it was filled with fury again when she remembered the pain. She helplessly hung her head down and stared at the marble floor.

She was very tired and just wanted to sleep. Crystal looked around her surroundings and noticed that she was in the living room. The two modern, white sofas faced each other with a glass table in the middle. The big, black TV was hanging on the wall. To make it livelier, several plants were placed around the room. The windows were big and wide. A portrait of Jason and Crystal hung on the wall. Jason was wearing a white suit while Crystal was wearing a white, gorgeous wedding dress filled with crystals. His hair was styled backward while her hair was tied in a bun with a diamond tiara on top of her head. She had a big smile on her face while he looked expressionless. She boomed of happiness while he gave off a gloomy vibe.

Crystal could see that the marriage between Jason and the previous Crystal was doomed from the start from the portrait. Love couldn't be forced and shouldn't be. She didn't blame Jason for not loving Crystal, but he could have handled the situation in a different way. Both of them were at fault. The former Crystal should have known when to stop, and Jason should have avoided marrying someone he didn't love.

Crystal sighed and was about to find her bedroom when she realized that she didn't know where it was. Turning around, she bumped into a hard chest. Jason stared down at her and gently pushed her away. She rubbed her nose and glared at him. She wanted to cry because of the pain. She hasn't even known this man for a long time and he had already inflicted pain on her.

"What", Jason stated. He smirked and amusedly stared at her. She looked away from his intense stare. "Nothing, where is my bedchamber?".

"You mean a bedroom?"

Crystal rolled her eyes at him. "Yes, a bedroom".

"Alright, follow me". Then Jason turned his back and walked towards the spiral stairs. She quickly followed him.

Staring at the room, Crystal was taken aback. The bed was pink, and the walls were painted in dark pink colors. The leopard curtains touched the floor. The only thing she liked about this room was the marble floor. Walking into the walk-in-closet, Crystal couldn't be more surprised. All of the clothes in her were of thin materials. The jackets were made of fur and most of the clothes imitated animals. Like this tiger-dress that hung from the closet and the snake-skin heels on the counter.

"...", she had no words. Not a single word. Jason was used to this so he wasn't surprised at all. He knew she had a terrible sense of fashion, but she liked it. The former Crystal liked to follow the trend and didn't care if it looked cool. As long as it was branded clothes, she didn't care.

Noticing that Crystal was awfully quiet, he walked closer to her and gently nudged her shoulder.
