All Hallow's Eve

On Halloween,
Ghosts give you a fright,
With creepy ghouls and monsters
All throughout the night.

You walk down the road,
Costume and all,
When suddenly *gasp*
You are doomed to fall

Down, down you go,
Into blackness like death,
As you fall lower,
This may be your final breath

Then suddenly, you hit,
But it's not solid ground,
Then you wake up in your bed,
Hearing the howling of a hound

Its Halloween again,
Your confused and dazed
Was it all a dream
The idea seems crazed

Everyone is acting normal
Not a thing out of place
Its as if that never happened
This is truly a strange case

Later at night
You're Trick-or-Treating again,
The time is approaching when you fell
At half past ten

You turn a different way,
You don't go down that road,
For you don't want to fall
Into mysteries untold

But down this road awaits you,
A very different plight
More ghouls and ghosts and goblins
That want you to see the light

Every time you die
You wake up again and again
An endless cycle going, going,
Looping without end

An inescapable force,
To be trapped inside for good
That is until finally you greet
The figure with the hood

Death has come to take you
You beg for forgiveness
You ask to be spared and live
With any sickness

Despite your desperate
Pleas and cries
You go down into the fire
With tears in your eyes

This is something I wrote for Halloween, so I thought "why not let my Wattpad followers know about my weird talent for poetry," and so I decided to show you guys this.
