I'm 17 . Class Of 2014 , Turn Up ! I've always wanted the best for myself. but , my life has started to change , in good ways & bad ones. I'm at the top of my class, Valedictorian. But , I had met this boy Trey who was 24 , Of course my mom didn't approve but I did & went for it. we'd only been dating for 3 months when I got pregnant.

*Flashback*

I was sitting in the living room of our apartment in a big t-shirt as Pj's. My long jet black Brazilian hair was braided into a side braid. I twirled it as I waited. I'm 8 months pregnant , my ankles killing me & I'm already irritated. my boyfriend , trey had been acting weird & I finally decided to address the matter with him.

I stood up just as he walked in the door, at 2a.m😒 Df?

Me: Trey, you've been acting weird lately. A-are you (I began to whisper) cheating on me?

He gave me a dirty look and then ...

I woke up in the bed next to Trey. I turned over & his snore got louder so I knew he was truly still asleep. I slid from under the covers slowly & walked softly to the bathroom across the hall.

I turned on the light & examined myself. i covered my mouth so I wouldn't scream. My eye was blackened & I had bruises on my arm & cheeks. As tears began to fall, I started to pack a bag. My pink iPhone 5c rang.

[Kiaraaa👭❤️😂]

I quickly silenced it before it would wake Trey.

I whispered as I packed.

Me: Hello?

Kiara: It's 11 o'clock where are you? we were supposed to get our nails done today at 12:30

Me: Omg ! It's 11 ? I didn't even know. I'm on my way.

I hung up , grabbed my bag , charger & keys & headed down the stairs of the apartments. I put everything in the backseat.

*End Of Flashback*

it played over and over again as I drove to Kiara's house. It was about 20 minutes away. I couldn't even think straight. I thought trey was perfect for me. Blinded by the fact that ever since I got pregnant & his mom died. He's beaten me everyday. I didn't listen to my mom. I didn't listen to my bestfriend . I'm finally realizing for myself,

I deserve better.
