Railey’s POV

“So when are you going to tell her about what happened with you and Chloe? You’ve been quiet for some hours and napapansin niya iyon.”

“Kuya, I don’t have  to tell everything to Rebecca. In fact, what happened with Chloe and I was nothing for me. It’s nothing. It’s just me being a man, and her being a flirt. That’s it.”

“When you started imposing your rules, make sure that you follow them first.”

“I know, I know. But, the hell. Why on earth should I say everything. We’re definitely okay. I don’t want to ruin everything. Pinaghirapan ko si Rebecca. Ayokong magkalabuan pa kami.”

“You are now being selfish. I wonder if kinakaya pa ng konsensya mo ‘yan.”

“I can handle this. She won’t know.”

“She won’t know? Knowing Rebecca, I think, she will find a way to know that. Rye, it’s very obvious. Miski ako, naaasar na sa ugali mo.”

                “Thanks for the advice, though.”

“That’s not an advice. That’s a command for you to be faithful to her. She’s being good then ganyan ka? Isn’t that unfair?”

Hindi na natapos ang discussion about life sa akin ni Kuya. But, hey, Rebecca and I are already good. Okay na kami. I shouldn’t do things na ikasasama ng relationship namin. I don’t want to stress her again. It’s the first step of being the best boyfriend—making your girlfriend feel okay. I’ll  just fix some things with Chloe to make sure that everything’s gonna be okay.

Then, kahit may mangilan-ngilang kasama ako sa loob ng faculty room, I don’t talk too much. I just concentrate on typing.

And as usual, she’s wearing another red shirt again.

“Nothing’s good in the morning if you’re here, my dear,” I said as I type the questions for my exam.

“We’re already good, Ma’am Chloe. I don’t need your endless rants. So, can you now move on?” then, I smiled at her while giving emphasis to my last two words.

“Oops. Oops. Anyway, it’s nothing. She’s just one of the women I’ve met with that kind of personality. Cliché.

“Kalmado naman ako. Sana ganun ka rin. Sana…
