Robin's Love (Teen Titans)

Part 40

  After 3 days of being in bed Dick finally stopped babying me and let me stand up. Overprotctive much? but during those three days we heard a lot from batman, and i mean a lot like i seriously never heard Bruce talk so much, so heres kinda what went down. Since i was in a bed in the batcave I just stayed there day and night, but i mean i wasn't alone or anything Dick slept down there and Alfred and i would talk and even play chess a little, by the way i kicked his ass. When Dick came back from patroling or beating up bad guys he would come home tired and usually sit next to me and we would talk, oh but this one time Dick came back a bit moody.

I just finished beating Alfred in chess when the Batmobile pulled into the cave
"Master Dick how was Patrolling?" Alfred said politely
"Fine Alfred just tiring, firefly showed up so that was annoying"Dick said walking past Alfred and straight to me and looked up at Alfred hinting that he could leave now
"Well, i guess i'll leave you too alone, its almost midnight, Ms. Cascade get your rest" Alfred said as he walked off

"Well you don't seem happy" I said
"I'm not apperently the team back at home had a bit of a issue with this space alien and they all got stranded, and the recked the T Ship"
"But their okay right?!" I asked frantic
"Yeah BeastBoy called in, he and Cyborg are togther they don't know where Raven or StarFire is"
"Shit maybe i should go and try to help them"
"You still need bed rest"
"Dick, i'm fine completely healed, accually i'm getting kinda cramped and need to strech but nooo because someone won't let me out of bed" I said playfully glaring at Dick, "Please?" I said pleading doing my best puppy dog eyes
"NO- Argh stop doing that"
"Pretty please? i'll do anything?" I said sounding like a 5 year old
"no i need to be sure that your completely fine"
"but i am"
"No your not" Dick said sounding annoyed, I looked up to see his face hoving slightly above mine, when did his face get so close? "I should have protected you better" He said sounding sad, he still blames himself and bring it up all the time
"I don't need protecting" I said, "I'm not a peice of glass, i'm not fragile"
"Yes you are" He said as his lips crashed onto mine but at the awkward angle we were in it was uncomforable, I tried to stand but Dick didn't let me, instead he climbed on the small bed and put both of his arms on the side of my face and hovered above me, kinda like he was going to do push ups
"you could have just let me stand" I said
"Oh shut up" He growled/whispered as he lowed his head and kissed me
His touge found a way in my mouth as we both came up for air, he started getting rougher almost as if he was trying to break me to prove that i was fragile but i was determinded to prove him wrong but i was getting harder and harder as his lips found my neck and trailed down to my collarbone....

The next day i woke up with breakfast on the side table thanks to Alfred i'm sure, before you ask no me and Dick did not got any further than kissing. A lot. That was one of the nights that stucked in my head but last night was the complete opposite of what happened lets just say we got a call from Batman, as in a very angry Bruce Wayne

It was like any normal night, Dick comes back from Patrolling, tired but this time the computer beeped with a video call from the Justic Leauge
"Shit" Dick said under his breath as he answered, keeping his cowl on to see the stren face of a cowled bruce wayne
"were alone you can tak off the cowl Dick" He said as Dick removed the mask, "I heard Joker tired to esacape and there has been reports of FireFly and Scarecrow attempting robbery"
"Yeah there way but i handled it" Dick said
" I almost heard that Batman was seen with Batgirl, explain" Bruce said keeping scarily calm
"Alfred help me up" I whispered as i got out of bed
"Oh well, um...Barabra came in to help" Dick said trying to lie
"I called her she was off duty." Bruce said harshly
"Ok listen, i know you said just me but I had to bring-" Dick started to say
"um..Hello Bruce nice to see you again" I said shyly as i walked to the computer next to Dick
"I though i made it extremely clear I TOLD YOU, JUST YOU, DON'T BRING ANY PLAYMATES ALONG. THE JUSTICE LEAUGE WILL BE FINISHED BY TONIGHT, BE SURE TO BE OUT OF THE MANSION BEFORE I GET HOME! GET. HER. OUT." Bruce screamed glaring harshly at Dick, who was looking anywhere but at the screen
"I know and i'm sorry, we'll be leaving first thing tomorrow" Dick said looking like a spanked puppy
"I applogize for intruding Mr. Wayne but all i did was help" I said getting defensive over Dick and myself
"Be out by tomorrow" He said as he signed off

The three of us stood in silence for a while until Alfred decided it was a good time to go leaving me and Dick alone
"Are you okay?" i asked putting my hand on his shoulder, feeling his tense mussles
"Hes right, I shouldn't have brought you, I should have followed orders, I failed him." Dick said looking down
"I'm sorry, i shouldn't have insisted on coming along, You didn't fail him, you protected gotham thats what he asked, he couldn't ask for a better successor. " I said hugging him
"Lets just pack or bags and say goodbye to Alfred, we'll leave first thing tomorrow" Dick said as he walked away

So the over the span of a week me and Dick lived in Gotham dressed up as Batman and Batgirl, not the ideal Date but still sweet and i had a great time. Even if i got stabbed, Now were saying our goodbyes to Alfred and getting in the car. I liked being here alone with Dick but i do miss the other Titans back in Jump City.

  "are we almost there?!" I asked Dick for about the millionth time

"Yes! just like a hour left" He said, we were on the R Cycle so it wasn't very comfortable. I groaned as i layed my head down against his chest. He was sitting behind me with his arms wrapped around my shoulders while he steered, " You know you could take a nap"
"I'm not tired" I said
"your cranky"
"I am not!"
"sure. i'm driving as fast as i can" He said as the motarcycle lurched forward.

A hour later we were driving into Jump City and Titans Tower came into view.
"Were finally home!" I yelled over the wind
"Do you wanna see something cool?" Robin said in my ear
"Depends what it is?" I yelled back
"You'll see" He said as he sped up the R Cycle and raced to the bridge just North of Titans Tower
"What are you doing?!" I asked worridly as we sped through cars and closer and closer to the edge of the bridge
"Sometimes, when i'm bored i'll go out for rides, this was of course before you came along, and i would experiment and see what things i could pull off" Robin said as he willed the car to go faster and faster, until there was no more bridge under us and we were jumping in mid air towards the Tower
"ROBIN!" I screamed, as i heard his laugh

"NEVER Do that again!" I yelled as we landed on the shore and near the garage of Titans Tower
"Come on! that was fun" He said smiling, "you know it was!" He said stepping in closer
"ok maybe it was, give me warning next time'" I said
"that was the fun part" He said, as he ducked his head down and kissed me

"OH Come on guys, you've only been here for WHAT? a Second! and your already kissing! You've had all week to do this mushy stuff!" I heard BeastBoy's voice though the intercom
"Oh yeah forgot the video, and security system" Robin said smirking
"Oh shut up" I said as I smacked his cheek lightly
"Ow!" He said grabbing my wrist, "Kiss it!" he said teasing
"And if I don't"
"I wi-"
"YO YOU TWO LOVE BIRDS GET YOUR BUTTS UP HERE AND SAY HELLO TO YOUR TEAM YOU HAVEN'T SEEN IN DAYS!" Cyborg's voiced scream echoed the garage
