Chapter 21

before i could dwell on Raven's emotions i was being pushed on to a mortarcycle by Robin, who handed me a helmet.
"thanks" i said he just nodded as i got on behind him and wrapped my arms around his waist, well trouble awaits...

It didn't take long to get to the scence of the crime, we were in an old building huddled together.
"so, whos the bad guy this time? Gizmo? Mad Mod? Killar Moth?" Cyborg asked
"the report simply said there was a break in"
"well whoever it is were totally going to kick their-" BeastBoy said
"no" Robin said shocked next to me looking at a man in a black and bronze mask

"It’s been a long time, hasn’t it, Titans? A month? A year? A millennium? Far too long for my taste, anyway. I was beginning to think I’d never see your smiling faces again"
"you...how did you survie?" Cyborg said
"Terra took you down...way down!" BeastBoy said, i could feel Robin tense up next to me...
"Slade. i don't know where you've been but you shouldn't have came back" Robin said stepping infront of me slightly "I'm still ready"
"whos your little friend Robin? is she speical to you?" Slade asked, as Robin clenched his hands into fists
"Names Cascade, don't know much about you, but you must have done some bad shit to be this hated by my friends" i said moving next to Robin getting in a fighting Stance
"Precious isn't? Sorry Robin but im not here for you, sometimes don't you just feel happy to be alive" Slade said creating a fireball and throwing it at us
"since when can slade do that?" BeastBoy said dodging the flame
"i don't know but he won't be doing it much longer" Robin said jumping up and attacking slade with his staff

I jumped up on one of the ceiling beam and observed the fight that was emerging below me, i toke a deep breath ok you can do this, just another bad guys, except this one controls fire, while is the opposite of water, no biggie, your stronger than him...i watched as Robin toke a hit to the face by Slades boot, thats it, i jumped down from my beam and kicked Slade right in the face, his mask became crooked

"Nice try new girl" he said as he bent his mask back in place
"what? what are you?" i asked
"your wrost nightmare" he said as he shot fire balls at me, i doged half of the and created water to evaporate them
"ahh, i see your that Jess girl...tell your sister i have a message for her" that shocked me bit, i let my gaurd down and that gave him the opprutunity to hit me, my shirt and jeans sizzled and ripped, i looked like i just jumped into a flaming building "or i could just tell her myself" i heard Slade wisper to me as he kicked me in the side and walked off, ok no don't black out not again, stop being the loser who can survie a battle without passing out, get up!
"NO, your message will not be delivered" i yelled as i wipped him with water "and my name is Cascade!" i yelled as i threw him across the room

BeastBoy came charging at him and hit him as a elephant, Cyborg started firing up his cannon, Star was attacking him with StarBolts, Robin was throwing exploding disks at him, while i searched for Raven.

"i just want this day to end!" i heard her mutter when i approached her
"Raven...I'm Sorry, i want this all to end too" i said hugging her
"sorry ladies but i think we both know this day is far from over" slade said from above us as he jumped down and grabbed Raven, who screamed in terror, "hello birthday girl ready for your presant? I have a message for you, it has begun"

"not if i can help it" i said as i jumped up ready to kick him in the head again when he created a circle made of fire around me, dehydrating me, also greatly weaking me, i layed there helpless try to get out of the fire circle. I watche through the flame, Robin was running from a rolling steel pipe that was advancing fast...Cybrog was about to get crushed by a falling building, BeastBoy and Starfire were about to go down in flame and theres nothing i can do...I hate it, i hate it i hate it so much! theres nothing i can do! im helpless, worthless to this team...then I heard Raven scream

"STOP" and thats exactly what happend, Time Stopped
