Chapter 35

A rock came flying at Slade, and knocked him out, thank you Raven! I slowly got up those flame rope things gave me some serious burns. I looked around the team was slowly getting up, but i was in so much pain, my arm felt like it was throbing. I tried to sit up and groaned in pain.

"Jessie" I heard Robin say as i felt his arms pulling me up as i stood up straight ignoring the pain.

"thanks." I said turning around to try and fine Raven

"I told you to leave them out of this!" I heard Raven's voice above me, HOLY crap shes gowing, i could tell the others were surpised as well

"How sweet you've come back to save your friends, but your only delaying their pain, and yours" Slade said all smug while creating two fire balls

"well what are you waiting for arn't you going to attack, reduce me to ashes? or did you master forbid you from hurting me?" Raven said advancing closer and closer to slade as he backed away, "or did he order you to keep his gem safe?" she asked sounding evil and taunting, its like i don't even regonzie her...

"So raven has the gem?" Cyborg asked, we were all to shocked to get in the way between her and Slade.

"No, Raven is the gem" I heard Robin say, guess Boy wonder picked up a detective skills from batman.

"I'll be sure to give him your regards" I heard Slade say as he began sinking into the ground

"I'm not finished yet!" Raven screamed as she pulled Slade back up, even through his mask i could tell he was terrified, "This time i have a message for you" she said as she started tossing him against the walls, "He'll have to destroy me before i ever help him"

"you can tell him yourself" Slade said out of breath, "the hour is near"

Raven went crazy mad, i've never seen her this full of...emotion, she started slaming Slade into every rock, smashing him, she was going all out crazy on him, BeastBoy was next to me and gave me a worried look, and mouthed whats happening to Raven? i just gave him a sad look, Robin looked completely shocked but was still funcional enough to push me behind him sheilding me from the debris Raven was making. Raven just kept on going and going, its a bit frightning.

"I'm not afraid of you anymore!" She yelled

"You might not fear me, but look whos afraid of you" Slade said then disapearing

Raven turned around and saw the sad picture behind her, Starfire looking shocked and scared, Cyborg looking just plain terrified, Robin pushing me behind him, and BeastBoys heartbroken face that was a mix between sadness, and scaredess, Raven's face fell as looked just as scared as the rest of us, and i know why. What she though would happen if we found out about her destiny was happening, she never wanted the team to be afraid of her, or see her differently, but now....

"Raven?" BeastBoy said looking hopeless as he stepped forward, Raven turned away from us.

"Guys lets get out of here, and talk when we get back to the tower....the roof isn't going to last long" i said trying to break up the silence

"yeah lets go home" Raven said floating away quickly

"The acient order used the name 'Scath' to protect the true identity of its ture master, we know him as...Trigon" Raven said as we all sat around her on the couch, she was finally coming clean

"Are you serious? thats what were up against?" Cyborg said, " aw man"

"his crueltly is ledgendary, even on my world" Star said sounding worried

"Soo, what made you go all glowy in the dark?" BeastBoy asked...way to go

"Its a warning it means trigon is coming, and the way he gets here is through me I"m not just a person...i'm a portal" Raven said i put my arm around her and looked up at Robin who was pacing back and forth, he does that when hes stressd

"But Raven why you?" Robin asked

"because of my mother..." I said softly looking down, and felt Raven pinch me

"Because Trigon, is my father" Raven said quickly after i mentioned my mother hiding the fact that i said anything at all, "bad things are going to happen soon, really bad things, and its going to be my fault i though i could handle this alone..." She said getting up from the couch and walking to the window, "I tried, but i was wrong"

"for confinding in us, we are most humbled" Starfire said floating up to Raven

"I only have one question how do we stop him?" Cyborg said trying to sound happy

"We don't." Raven said sounding the complete opposite of Cyborg

"that doesn't mean we can't try" BeastBoy said smiling as he walked up to Raven and gave her a huge hug, leave it to beastboy to fix this

"lets kick some demon but" I said jumping inbetween Raven and BeastBoy

and for once, Raven smiled but she also flashed me a look meaning we should talk soon

Everyone was heading to bed, Raven was already in her room, BeastBoy and Cyborg were having an all night monseter movie maraton, Starfire was playing with silkie, leaving me and Robin sitting in his room, just talking

"you knew about this all along didn't you" Robin asked me while playing with my fingers, we were sitting on his bed watching some movie i wasn't paying attention to, niether of us were paying attention to it

"I can tell when your lying" Robin said smirking

"you won't look people in the eye and lie" he said playing with my thumb

"Damn" I said bitting my lip, he know me pretty well

"why didn't you tell me?" he asked becoming serious again

"it wasn't my secret to tell, and Raven really wanted me to keep it, sorry" i said looking at the tv screen

As quick as the flash he kissed me, before i could even process what was happening he kissed me hard and wrapped his arms around my wasit, as i kissed back just as hard. Robin was really into it, i felt his hands run though my hair and pull it as he pulled me onto his lap, I don't know what has gotten into him but...its kinda nice. Now i was sitting on his lap and we were still kissing not even coming up for air. Again it was Robin who made the daring move and bit my lip causing me to open my mouth for him to slip his tougue in, he wasted no time and began exploring my mouth. Robin still being a gentlemen didn't move his hands down or move them anywhere he just kept a firm grasp on my hair and next and didn't let me go, and i didn't want him to. He pulled away panting

"stay here for tonight?" he asked out of breath, i raised an eyebrow, "what! to sleep!" he said laughing a little

I replied by suggling in closer to him

"wait!" I said as i sat up and leaned over him, "no mask" I said and i toke off his mask and kissed him tenderly on the lips as i fell asleep with is arms wrapped around my waist
